That designation contains TWO letters, followed by a number (if neccesary)



The objects which are given a single letter, are comets.

So now you would say it's actually a comet....????
Well that is also a big fat FAIL!

The letter in a comet designation, indicates the half-month in which it was discovered (i is omitted)
And the letter 'T' denotes early October.

If it were a comet, that designation would mean it was the 955th comet discovered in Early October 2013.
5 MONTHS IN THE FUTURE


The designation number you chose to invent, gives you away as someone who doesn't know how these bodies are named.

T = between Oct. 1 - 15
955 = Gibberish and indicates idiotic ignorance of how the numbering system works.

If you have data that an asteroid is on a collision course, then how is that incomplete? That's one of those continuity things you're supposed to ferret out in the draft of your fairy tale. If you want to be a good role player, you need to understand narrative continuity.
