Did Angelina Jolie just have a double mastectomy or was she replaced by a hermaphrodite doppelganger???

I was friends with twin sisters, their mother died of cancer and a few years back this test comes out...bottom line is that the one sister who took test came back positive, she decided to have a mastectomy. She was awesome, but she ended up dead 2 years later. She was so paronoid of getting cancer, she got it and it killed her

I do have a few things to say about it though.

First, I recall in the article I read online she was told she had an 87% percent chance of cancer without the procedure...and a 5 % chance with? That's...pretty significant. Leaves one with a lot to consider.

You're correct, usually catching things "early" increases your chance of survival, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it will always mean you're going to necessarily be "okay". Nothing's guaranteed with cancer. And it can move fast. Anything could happen. It's complicated. And surely terrifying. And she's got kids.

I'm not really the biggest fan of Jolie. I respect that her heart usually seems to be in the right place, but I'd have more respect for her if every time she set off saving the world she wasn't surrounded by camera crews documenting it.

Though the sad fact probably is she's fed more Third World children than any of us in this thread, so what the fuck are you gonna do? (though with the ABSURD amount of money she and Pitt make, they could do a lot more...A LOT more.)

Lastly, if women around the world start lopping off parts of their bodies to emulate Jolie...that's on them.

I know a lot of people who frequent this site convince themselves that human beings are somehow "powerless" to resist absorbing- and becoming brainwashed by- "the media", but personally I think it's bullshit.

In the end- you can turn off the tv. You can choose to go outside and climb a tree. Or ride a bike.

Another example of this OP surfing the net and picking out any news story and trying to twist it into a conspiracy. Women do this kind of surgery all the time. It's not news. My own wife is considering it.

Not saying this is the case but this could be a way for her to get implants/lift while soap boxing nobly and being shielded from scrutiny because its a medical procedure to PREVENT breast cancer.
