German Family Denied Asylum, HSLDA Appeals

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals today upheld the Obama Administration’s denial of asylum granted to the Romeike family.

The Romeikes fled Germany in 2008 when they were subjected to criminal prosecution for homeschooling. They were granted asylum in 2010 by Immigration Judge Lawrence O. Burman, but that grant was overturned by the Board of Immigration Appeals in 2012. A three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit heard the Romeikes’ appeal on April 23 in Cincinnati, and issued today’s unanimous decision against the family.

Romeike v. Holder should be a warning to all Americans that the same arguments being heard about homeschooling could be used down the road to outlaw homeschooling in the USA. At the same time, we also note that the U.S. government is increasingly pushing for new national standards in math, reading, science, etc. to be adopted in an effort to totally control the education of our children. In this curriculum move, the 50 states will not get federal financial support if they do not agree to adopt these new standards. Of course, we are seeing this new generation of national science standards insist that science should be taught as naturalism (which is atheism) and evolution presented as fact.

They were granted asylum in 2010 but this was appealed by the Obama administration. Why?

While currently legal in all U.S. states - could it be that this administration is aiming for outlawing homeschooling?

They did not blow up 100's of innocent people or chop off womens tits in africa, or rape children.
So they have no fear of retaliation.

If they had commited an atrocity then they would have been welcomed with open arms either in usa or the uk

...or if they came from Mexico illegally, they would be welcomed and would be given welfare along with other free stuff.

"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

..more easily controlled is why the parents home school them, so that will not be exposed to thoughts not allowed in the home. The kid is in school approx. 180 days a yr. for approx.6 hrs a day...you have most of the year to talk to your kids about what they were told in class. Talk to your kids about us vs them mentality and the dangers of fear of different ideas.

But the racist due of Obama and Holder want to give free passage to the 11 million illegal Mexican Hispanics?

Fuck this. White folks, it is time to unite and speak up.

If this was not white people, asylum would be granted.

We have to speak and fight for these people.

Obama and Holder are clearly anti-white.

... hmmmmm ... we home educated our two children ...
.
... never had to spend time "talking" to them about what they learned in school ...
.
... time was spend with computer programming, gardening, chemistry, electronics, cooking, sewing, welding, black smithing, vehicle maintenance, engine rebuilding, biking, baking, playing organ, piano, recorder, etc. ... had no reason or time "undo" ...
.
... and our now young adults can look from the sideline at the "world" and make a much better judgment of where the sheep are going ...
.
... folks in our neighborhood are very pleased to have them around ...
.
... skilled, helpful, honest ... things the neighbors don't have to fear ...
