It is the magnetic field.

Do a web search, and look up the sounds that were recorded of Jupiter's electromagnetic field. Here is a link, to show you what I am talking about. The sounds of Jupiter's magnetic field, sound exactly the same as those which are being recorded all over the globe...at least to my ear.

Makes you wonder why we are now hearing the sounds of a magnetic field all over the Earth???

ok, uploading onto the computer. It's a strange sound.. A range of different low frequencies.. And it's loud enough for me to hear from inside of my apartment, but not sure how it's going to work being recorded. Kind of annoying actually.

Agreed - we have had four solar flares over X1 over the past 48 hours.

That is true, we have had 4 Xs, but they weren't exactly earth-facing... could be more so crustal displacement symptoms.

Wild! That's really weird how the noise stops abruptly and starts again. That would spook me the heck out. :O

It's still ongoing. I wish I knew what it was so I could sleep lol.
