These are assigned a number which gives more information about their strength: An X2 is twice as intense as an X1, an X3 is three times as intense, and so on. from the article fucking idiots |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 39169191 Canada 05/15/2013 12:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I can't wait for an X60 to hit Earth directly!!!! Quoting: Sul-Americano 1063827 Many weeks/months without working!!!!!!!! No more assholes talking loudly on their stupid cellphones!! Streets free of cars!! No more bills to pay!!!! The only problem is that we wont't be able to get cold beer for a while... You could have a cool beer if you dig a food storage hole and keep it covered. Better yet, learn how to make your own beer, since you won't be able to go to the store and buy it any longer... I am still miffed at the snow/hail storm we got on Mother's Day that killed my herbs and tomato plants that I was unable to bring in. Now what ever is left in my garden will be fried :( |

The lcbo is threatening to strike over the long weekend. Now that's doom!! Indeed, as soon as we got wind of the strike a few weeks ago, we have been getting extra "just in case". A Canadian with out alcohol for a long weekend is a very bitchy individual! |

Al Jourgens Son User ID: 39544564 Canada 05/15/2013 01:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sun is super bright here in Ontario Canada. wind has really kicked up, which to me, is weird, as there's barely any clouds in the sky. and considering Environment Canada was saying it would only be 21 degrees today, it's already 25, but it does feel much hotter in the sun. Quoting: Sul-Americano 1063827 Anyone knows when that f***ing sunspot will be Earth faced!?? Even now, it is slightly earth facing. We'd likely see some impact from a large energy release (glancing), assuming it was AR1748 that popped off. It will become more and more earth facing hour by hour. |

Quoting: Sul-Americano 1063827 Anyone knows when that f***ing sunspot will be Earth faced!?? Have a look at solarham.net The active spot is 1748 and it is slightly earth facing now and will be for the throughout the week. It is still beta-gamma-delta (which means there is a lot of magnetic mixing going on which causes the flares) 1745 also has some mixing going on as it is beta-gamma. It hasn't thrown any flares though...yet...and it is completely earth facing now. |

You and many of us are about to undergo a trauma like none before. You seek a certain validation which is causing an uneasiness. Relax. Breathe. Be at peace. It's real. And it's about to manifest. Spend this time closing off all that needs to be closed off. Don't be afraid. We're not alone. Love. c |
