The Wet & Dry Moon Are Neologisms
The Wet and Dry Moon are neologisms and were introduced since 2005 only in the internet for trying to normalize that new phenomena we are living right now with that kind of Moon (sideways) on the Northern Hemisphere Regions where its NOT supposed to be seen.

The first sideways Moon was there in late 2007 only.

You cant find that kind of Moon configurations in any school books as an explanation (just because its not contemplated), in any family photo, movies before that date.

This is how it looks the sidways moon (wet) [link to s20.postimg.org]

fact

And the Nasa's "explanation" is something of ridiculous with not any scientific formula to calculate it in the next timeframe periods neither in whitch latitude and how many times is supposed to be seen.

Whats happening in our "solar system"? Good things I guess...

No Ducky, it's not a "Neologism"

Even the ancient Romans 2000 years ago knew the "sideways moon" - thus nothing new in northern latitudes.

Only Ducky the Duck is too dumb to get it.

If the Moon is off, if Earth wobbles or if there is a pole shift
how can things like this, predicted decades ago, happen?

"It is to be noticed that ab, the line which joins the
cusps, is always perpendicular to the line directed
to the sun, and the horns are always turned away
from the sun; so that the precise position in which
they will stand at any time is always predictable, and has nothing whatsoever
to do with the weather."
[the last bit in reference to the wet moon which superstition said affected the weather - yes the wet moon is normal and has nothing to do with the weather]

 Quoting: Ducky

Wrong.

There's half the equations needed, the other half are the equations for converting from equatorial coordinates to horizon coordinates which can be found in chapter 8 of the same book shown above. The entire set of equations needed are executed by this spreadsheet and you can see them at work for yourself:

So what's going on with the moon tonight? It's a waxing Gibbous? But my Wii game console for the weather channel shows that it's supposed to be a full moon tonight? What's up with that?

It's surprising to see all these 'enlightened' minds trying to one-up each other every day. "I'm smart," "I'm smarter"; "But what IS smart?" NO, you must mean "But WHAT is smart?" I wonder how far everyone could get with some friendly co-operation? A lot further, I'd think. No one has to know the most, be the smartest, have the BEST intuition. We all contribute; use it all. The "horned moon" is an ancient symbol that was popular (for example" with the celtics.

There are depictions of it going back thousands of years.

Ducky hasn't done any work, let alone good work. Good work is correctly calculating the apparent orientation of the moon and finding that it's normal for it to appear "horizontal in the northern hemisphere." Good work is pointing out that this is not a neologism and that there are very old accounts of this phenomenon. Show me where my calculations are wrong:
