Re: 1241 A.D: Liegnitz & Mohi: How the Mongol Warriors of Genghis Khan Whooped the Knight Templar Ass!
During the Mongolian Empire, people did not believe in washing their clothes, or themselves.

They refrained from doing this because it was their traditional belief that by washing, they would pollute the water and anger the dragons that controlled the water cycle.

Therefore, clothes were often not changed until they fell off or fell apart, except for holidays when specialized robes were worn. Because of this, the smell of the outfit was seen as an important aspect of the wearer.

For example, if the Great Khan were to give his previously worn clothing (with his smell on it) to a loyal subject, it would be considered a great honor to have not only the clothing, but the smell as well.

Its only as recent as 1990 that the life and history of the Mongols are coming to light owing to the translations of new documents discovered.

Genghis Khan too, used terror tactics to win wars.

By August 1221, only a year into the campaign, Mongol officials sent their Korean subjects a demand for 100,000 sheets of their famous paper. The volume of paper shows how rapidly the Mongol record keeping was increasing as the size of the empire grew, but the order also symbolized the Mongol emphasis on writing their history. Increasingly, paper was the most potent weapon in Genghis Khan's arsenal. He showed no interest in having his accomplishments recorded or in panegyrics to his prowess; instead, he allowed people to freely circulate the worst and most incredible stories about him and the Mongols.

their extreme discipline, and their excellent use of modern weapons that were usually stolen from conquered armies.

A practice in the Mongol army to deter traitors and cowardice was when one man in a group of ten would desert the entire group of ten would be killed.

With that policy each soldier's life literally depended on each other which made them act more like a team.

Each Mongol was also required to carry his own food which usually consisted of dried meat and dried yak milk however when that ran out the soldier would cut a vein open on his horse and drink the blood to maintain his strength.

That and cannibalism of the enemy was not always uncommon among the Mongols.

Actually many Mongols leaders would eat the liver of the leaders of the destroyed enemy armies so that they could capture the strength of that person and add it to their own.

The siege had already dragged on for months and more months might be required to finally take Zhongdu.

The Mongol forces drawn up around the capital were desperately short of food.

The Christian missionary Carpini who would later visit the Mongol court claimed that the Mongols outside Zhongdu were so starved that they resorted to cannibalism and had to kill their own comrades for food.

One out of every ten died to provide sustenance for the others, he claimed.

This may have been a slanderous exaggeration, but numerous other sources attest to the dire straits of the Mongol troops.

Rashid al-Din reported that “things were so bad they ate the corpses of their dead companions and of fallen horses; they even ate hay.”

The Hungarians did not panic, but they did lose the initiative.

They still had superior numbers, but instead of charging through the Mongol center-much-thinned by the first clashes- they confusedly withdrew into their camp.

The Mongols brought up their siege engines and bombarded the camp at leisure for several hours, then charged in three converging columns.

Some Hungarian troops fled through a gap left by the Mongols for just such a purpose; soon individual desertions turned into a complete rout.

Only a handful of Knights Templar stood their ground. Overwhelmed by the Mongols, they died to a man.

According to James Chambers, Henry's force numbered at most 25,000 troops.

Lesser trained forces included an army from Opole under Duke Mieszko II the Fat; Moravians led by Boleslav, son of the Margrave of Moravia Děpolt III; conscripts from Greater Poland; and volunteer Bavarian miners from Goldberg (Złotoryja).

Henry's better trained troops were his own gathered from Silesian Piast duchies, mercenaries and

very small contingents of French Knights Templar and Hospitallers.

Don't tell me let me guess. They used one of the first bio-weapons known to man and it is also the 7th or 8th Plague in the bible. It is called ANTHRAX and was the real cause of the BLACK DEATH. By catapulting both animal and human infected corpses over city walls and feeding infected meat and poisoning wells they killed off a large population of Asis and Europe.

They had allies in these matters and they were called the VENETIAN BANKSTER and were responsible for the LOMBARD COLLAPSE aroun 1348. Just about similar timing as the plague.

SOO DON'T INHALE THOSE CHEMTRAILS IF THE DOLLAR COLLAPSES.

Venetian bankers gave the Mongols intel in exchange for trading privileges in conquered territory.
How about... oh just aspinning a theory off the top of my head... if you want to conquer and destroy an enemy, rather than indulge in toe to toe battle, you have your agents infiltrate and assume control at the very highest levels.
Then you destroy him at your leisure.
While portraying him as a truly evil and wicked.
Neato huh?

None of the books I read have mentioned that the Mongols ate human meat. In fact its the other way around. They had a lot of respect for the dead. It was forbidden to expose the dead body, even touch it in any way.
In fact when the European clergies decided to change tactics and parade the bones of dead Christian saints, the Mongols were enraged, as it was against Mongolian costom to insult the dead. They had a deep fear and veneration for the spirit of the dead.

So your information is all wrong.
All I see is your central hatred and intention of making the Mongols look sick.

Those were not bio-weapons, but stink bombs designed to spread fear of infection and disease. Mongols wouldn't have had the technology to contain the anthrax or the plague virus.
To catapult infected animal and human corpses, they'd have to have CARRIED them along with them. Why would they risk infection.

Armies of any kind carry diseases with them-probably historically a greater killer of troops than actual combat.
Fleas on unwashed horsemen probably killed the Mongols as well as being transferred to local people without any immunity.
Finding a corpse, or part of a corpse, and throwing it into your enemy's stronghold is a very old technique.

Thing is, the Mongols picked up these tricks from the Chinese, during their invasing of the East and South.
Flinging stink bombs across battle ramparts became a regular thing. So no way they could have carried disease laden corpses. Please think.

And you say 'Finding a corpse, or part of a corpse, and throwing it into your enemy's stronghold is a very old technique." , which I think is BS, becuase you don't normally 'FIND' disease laden corpses 'conviniently' near where you attack. lmao

You are so far removed from the reality of war in those days, that every thing makes sense to you in your living room. Lol.

Okay, lets put aside for a moment that the Mongolians did resort to cannibalism along with the Chinese etc.

Are you telling me that European warriors didn't resort to cannibalism anytime during their history?

The "BARBARIAN" part of the Mongol warriors was created by they themselves. Also the fact that during the medieval days, barbarianism was a part of the lifestyle. All you need to do is look at Caligula and the decadent Roman empire. The Romans too were Barbarians. So were the Turks, so were the Russians.
Barbarianism was a part of ancient life.
But if you don't study the Mongol lifestyle , and some of the great changes and new ideas instilled by Genghis Khan, you are making a big mistake.

Cannibalism has existed in one way or the other exists even today all over the world. But using that to denigrate a particular group of people as "SICK" is pretty low, don't you think?

OK Abhie, I don't want to anger you,

sorry, not my intent, the Knights Templar

were at both of these battles, but only

in tiny numbers, that is my point,

so tiny that they could not influence the

outcome of the battles in either way, that was

the purpose of the links, to show that,

read the posts I put up, and the quotes,

and the Knights Templar, in their small number,

fought well, the Hungarians, which were not

Knights Templar, fled, ran away, therefore,

the Knights Templar played such a small part in

all this, as to not matter, whether they fought

hard or not, they are hardly worth a mention,

and yes, after 25000 Hungarians ran away, they

were defeated, and the Illuminati did not even

exist at this time.

A combined force of Poles, Czechs and Germans under the command of the Polish duke Henry II the Pious of Silesia, supported by feudal nobility and a few knights from military orders sent by the Pope, attempted to halt the Mongol invasion of Europe. The battle came two days before the Mongol victory over the Hungarians at the much larger Battle of Mohi.

And you say 'Finding a corpse, or part of a corpse, and throwing it into your enemy's stronghold is a very old technique." , which I think is BS, becuase you don't normally 'FIND' disease laden corpses 'conviniently' near where you attack. lmao

I'm not in my living room matey.
In fact as an army travels it carries diseases with it that the people coming into contact with them for the first time have no resistance.
For example, Australia, America, New Zealand, and I daresay India too, where diseases such as smallpox and TB spread like wildfire through populaces which had had no previous exposure to them, even when no direct contact had been made and even hundreds of miles away.
Is that hard to grasp?
It's called a plague vector, which often spreads in advance of the invader, because people are fleeing.
Finding a plague dead corpse of one of your enemies, seeing the pus and dipping your arrowhead into the wound and then firing it at an enemy encampment, or biffing a hand or foot, is quite logical and quite human in its cruelty.
The Mongols respect for dead bodies certainly didn't extend to those of his enemies.
p.s. Mongols stink.
LOL!

Re: 1241 A.D: Liegnitz & Mohi: How the Mongol Warriors of Genghis Khan Whooped the Knight Templar Ass!
The Battle of Mohi (Muhi) , also known as Battle of the Sajó River or Battle of the Tisza River (11 April 1241), was the main battle between the Mongol Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary during the Mongol invasion of Europe. It took place at Muhi, southwest of the Sajó River. After the invasion, Hungary lay in ruins. Nearly half of the inhabited places had been destroyed by the invading armies. Around 15–25 percent of the population was lost, mostly in lowland areas, especially in the Great Hungarian Plain, the southern reaches of the Hungarian plain in the area now called the Banat and in southern Transylvania.

Re: 1241 A.D: Liegnitz & Mohi: How the Mongol Warriors of Genghis Khan Whooped the Knight Templar Ass!
The New Encyclopædia Britannica, Volume 29, says that "Employed against the Mongol invaders of Europe, knightly warfare failed even more disastrously for the Poles at Legnica and the Hungarians at Mohi in 1241. Feudal Europe was saved from sharing the fate of China and Muscovy not by its tactical prowess but by the unexpected death of the Mongols' supreme ruler, Ogedei, and the subsequent eastward retreat of his armies."

The Mongols cut the right ear off of each fallen European in order to count the dead; supposedly they filled nine sackfuls, though this has as much validity as European accounts of the numbers of Mongols.[8] Henry was struck down and beheaded while attempting to flee the battlefield with three bodyguards, and the Mongols paraded his head on a spear before the town of Legnica.

Brought across the Silk Road, the Mongols used disease infected corpses as a biological weapon. The corpses were catapulted over the city walls, infecting the inhabitants.[2] The Genoese traders fled, transferring the plague via their ships into the south of Europe, whence it rapidly spread. It is estimated that between one-quarter and two-thirds of the of Europe's population died from the outbreak of the Black Death between 1348 and 1350.
