Sounds like Big Brother Care, or NWO Care to me.

From "New Order of the Barbarians" (a must read for all GLPers) a transcript of a taped interview describing the disclosure of a plan for total control of society:

[link to www.100777.com]

section: Planning the Control over Medicine

"Access to hospitals would be tightly controlled. Identification would be needed to get into the building. The security in and around hospitals would be established and gradually increased so that nobody without identification could get in or move around inside the building.

Theft of hospital equipment, things like typewriters and microscopes and so forth would be "allowed" and exaggerated; reports of it would be exaggerated so that this would be the excuse needed to establish the need for strict security, until people got used to it.

And anybody moving about the hospital would be required to wear an identification badge with photograph and.. telling why he was there .. employee or lab technician or visitor or whatever. This is to be brought in gradually, getting everybody used to the idea of identifying themselves - until it was just accepted.

This need for ID to move about would start in small ways: hospitals, some businesses, but gradually expand to include everybody in all places!

It was observed that hospitals can be used to confine people .. for the treatment of criminals. This did not mean, necessarily, medical treatment. At that .. at that time I did not know the word "Psycho-Prison" - is in the Soviet Union, but, without trying to recall all the details, basically, he was describing the use of hospitals both for treating the sick, and for confinement of criminals for reasons other than the medical well-being of the criminal. The definition of criminal was not given."

Re: Why would my doctor's office start taking pictures of everyone?
photos themselves are a help in doctors offices and hospitals for patient ID and fraud prevention.

What I object to is that Barry LIED to us about obamacare saying it is NOT a mandatory tax when it was. I object to obamacare forcing doctors to keep electronic records that will be forcefully taken from them to put in a central database. that IS dangerous.

Offices taking photos are a pre-cursor to that.

We should be opposing central government databases of health records. Any record database should be owned by the patient and patient centric. The patient should allow access to whatever data they want to. i.e. giving their general health records to a surgeon specialist for upcoming surgery. or sharing prescription info to make sure a specialist doesn't prescribe something that may make a deadly combo w/ something else.

I did a palm reader once. She was a little hairier than most and quiet most times, but in the romper room she was great.

Re: Why would my doctor's office start taking pictures of everyone?
i worked in IT in the health field on this. This is the norm now. It isnt suspicious. They do it for your protection and theirs. A lot of illegals will steal peoples IDs for free healthcare. This proves its you when you come to the office. BUT this does tie into having all your data digitally available to all within government. Which ties to "mental health" with gun control and other factors. You may decline. But i do feel safer seeing it is protecting my identity. I show photo ID with my health insurance, so i have no problem with them confirming my face.
 Quoting: TheTruthNeverLies

Well if you have a photo ID, and you present it with your face in their face, why would they need a picture on file, hm??

"It's obamacare!!!!"
LOL
Yes Obama sucks and so does obamacare, but this has nothing to do with healthcare reform.
This has to do with botched operations where they get sued for amputating the wrong limb, operating on the wrong person, women who kidnap newborns from hospitals and other shit they screw up and need to cover their ass.
This is just more CYA corporate policy and has zero to do with Obama. Although he does suck. OMG it's raining outside!!
Dang that obamacare.

Re: Why would my doctor's office start taking pictures of everyone?
Went to my surgeon's office this morning. He shares the office space with a lot of different Dr's.

I was checking in at the desk and the receptionist told me they had to take my pic. I asked her why and she told me for security reasons, so they know who's coming in and out.

I thought that was strange. They have cameras around the building to see who's coming and going.

Any thoughts? I've never heard of this before.

Whoever started this practice can kiss my sweet southern rear end. I don't like to have my picture taken by anyone. The driver's license bureau gets one because I like to drive a car. That's pretty much it. I pay my doctor so I am, you might say, the customer.

We ask permission for a picture because we prescribe controlled substances and it is not required and it is for in office use only.

Yes, it started with all the concerned medical questions such as; do you drink, smoke, do you use reacreational drugs, you have thoughts that you want to kill yourself? One that surprised me recently was does your husband hit you?

Re: Why would my doctor's office start taking pictures of everyone?
It's called the "Red Flag Rule". It made me furious when the doctor wanted to take my picture or they wouldn't treat me.

The Red Flags Rule requires many businesses and organizations to implement a written Identity Theft Prevention Program designed to detect the warning signs — or "red flags" — of identity theft in their day-to-day operations. By identifying red flags in advance, businesses will be better equipped to spot suspicious patterns that may arise -- and take steps to prevent a red flag from escalating into a costly episode of identity theft.
