I'm going out to give my Jersey some treats, we smoother her with love so the milk is sweet. And we watch what she eats.

a lot of people can get along just fine by drinking it. but you do have to remember that cow's milk is meant to nourish an animal that grows to 2 tons.

moderation is everything.

Re: The FDA To Alter The Definition Of “Milk” To Include Aspartame?
This was the last straw for me.I've heard for years about milk pus and all that but I was raised on it so it didn't make me stop drinking it but I try not to ingest aspartame and since I will never know I've already stopped drinking milk. I won't trust them anymore with whatever they put in it if they can even think of doing this, what else are they doing?

It’s not quite as bad as some have reported – cancer-causing artificial sweetening additives such as as aspartame likely would still need to be listed in tiny letters as ingredients. But the milk could otherwise be packaged, marketed, and sold as just “milk.”

Silly rabbits, aspartame doesn't come from a cow's teat!
 Quoting: Brisketball

It will after they genetically engineer a cow to produce it. Then they can market it as being "all natural!"

people should not be drinking milk anyway. unless you want allergies and excess mucus. try almond milk or coconut milk.

I have never seen a fat nursed calf. Calves don't get fat on their mother's milk.

Cows get fat on grain. Cows grow on grass. Cow's milk is actually very nutrient dense and low in obesity-promoting sugars. This is why they need to add artificial sweeteners to it - America's fat kids just can't stand the taste of something that won't fatten them up.

Oh I read your post. You hyperinflated the weight of a full-grown animal in a vain attempt at suggesting dairy is a fattening agent that is inappropriate for creatures that don't get that large.

Following your logic, if we all want to be thin, we should drink goat's milk. Goats are only 100-150 pounds.

Uhhh, "CommonCents" - there is no Almond or Coconut TIT - so they do not produce milk. They produce "Juice".

It is almond juice, or coconut juice - not milk.

Plain disgusting that shit, we should drink regular milk without the cancer causing shit.

CALL THE FDA and demand that this shit doesn't happen!

Seriously, all of you GLPr's - they only get away with what WE Americans ALLOW them to get away with. If we put our fucking feet down on something finally, they won't be able to do it!

What a fucking concept eh? Milk should be the last of our worries : we should be on the footsteps of the Federal Reserve building DEMANDING our money should be backed by precious metals. We should be demanding our troops come home and stop "protecting" corporations fucking assets, like oil and natural gas. Our soldiers are not spreading freedom, they are spreading DEATH.

We all need to stop allowing this fucking NAZI government to walk all over us!

Let's start there, stop allowing these actions to take place in the first place!

USE YOUR VOICE, USE YOUR PHONE, CALL THESE SICK BASTARDS AND TELL THEM YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE ASPERTAME, OR FIAT MONEY OR MARSHALL LAW BULLSHIT!

TIME TO BE TWISTED SISTER, WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS NAZI SHIT MUCH LONGER YOU SICKO, WASHINGTON DC FUCKS!!!

I understand your point.

but I don't necessarily correlate "eating practices" with nutrition we need to survive, i.e. what's natural.

we do cook food, yes, and that has it's benefits. but we don't have to. same with milk.

Why the hell can't they use Stevia??
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1697744

Because stevia is not a known neuro-toxin like Aspartame is.

Can't you see you are being poisoned by the highest bidder?
 Quoting: Pathaka

What ticks me off, is that stevia is so cheap. And they charge twice the cost for products containing it.

Bahstids!

Cow milk is naturally for baby cows.

Goat milk is naturally for baby goats.

Human milk is naturally for baby humans.

Back in the day stealing the milk of a beast for survival was one thing.

Today, the commercial exploitation of those beasts is inhuman.

Most people wouldn't drink commercial milk

if they saw and knew how the commercial dairy cows were treated

and if they knew about

the allowable blood and puss contents

the Monsanto animal feed

the Monsanto growth hormones

and now the Monsanto additives

Which are both toxic and physically addicting.

Today's commercial milk does "not" do a body good.

The HUGE problem here is that they can sneak certain additives in foods without having to legally label them. They need to be forced to LABEL EVERYTHING so that we can avoid their nasty poisons if we choose to. redface God this shit makes me so mad.
