Death by Modern Medicine: "Guns Don't Kill People, Doctors Do" You are 2,000 times more likely to be killed by a Doctor than by a Gun
This is a very small excerpt from George Eby's massive site on magnesium and depression, a very useful and informative site that someone here pointed me to a long time ago, to good effect.

The message of the dangers of modern pharmaceutical medicine can't be overstated. The drug companies have so much sway in the media that these facts will never get the airplay they should. Another researcher who is getting the word out about the medical death machine is Jon Rappoport.

[link to www.george-eby-research.com]

"Death by Modern Medicine

Medical doctors (MDs) are reported in medical journals reviewed by Joseph Mercola MD to be the number 3 cause of death in the United States (about 250,000 cases per year, equal to killing all people in a town the size of Galveston, Texas). Another much higher estimate by Gary Null PhD, Carolyn Dean MD ND, Martin Feldman MD, Debora Rasio MD, and Dorothy Smith PhD in 2003 shows the total number of iatrogenic deaths in an article titled Death by Medicine to be about 780,000 (equivalent to killing all the people in a city slightly larger than Austin, Texas). From their data, it is evident that the American medical system is a leading cause of death and injury in the United States, considerably ahead of the 2001 heart disease annual death rate of 700,000 and the annual cancer death rate of 550,000. Heart attack is a new disease that has come about in this century. Prior to 1925, there was almost no knowledge of this disease. We have seen from international data that ninety-percent of these heart attacks deaths in the United States are caused by our lethal high-calcium low-magnesium diets.

Let's put this in some kind of perspective. For example, we know that the number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000. We know that the accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 250,000. Therefore, the accidental deaths rate per physician is 0.357. These statistics are courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services. Now think about this: The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million). The number of accidental gun deaths per year, considering all age groups, is 1,500, and he number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188. Statistics courtesy of FBI. Statistically speaking, doctors are approximately 2,000 times more dangerous (likely to kill you) than gun owners. Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do." FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT, Almost everyone has at least one doctor. This means you are over 2000 times more likely to be killed by a doctor than by a gun owner! We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand! Out of concern for the public at large, I withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!

If we wanted to blame medical doctors (people with enormous financial interests in treating - but not necessarily in preventing heart attacks), then we can add some of these numbers and come up with nearly 1,500,000 deaths per year caused by physicians in the United States, which clearly puts physicians as the leading cause of death in the United States. This is the same as killing all of the people in a city the size of Philadelphia, PA, each and every year. And they complain about their insurance rates being too high? Duh!!! If the radical Islamics killed 1,500,000 Americans a year, there would be thermonuclear war! I suspect insurance companies would be better off insuring radical, suicidal bomber Islamics! An article showing the grave extent of the magnesium deficiency problem was written by Jane E. Brody, the well known New York Times health writer, and was published recently in the Times and reprinted in many other major newspapers. The Brody article cited Seelig and the Alturas and covered all topics in a most concise manner. I think it is mandatory reading. This single article, if given the consideration it truly deserves, places the general reading public far ahead of physicians in their understanding and knowledge of this epidemic catastrophe. The Brody article is located here.

If you are not aware of the severity of this national and Western cultural catastrophe, then you must educate yourself. A really good place to start is here at the article by Gary Null PhD, Carolyn Dean MD ND, Martin Feldman MD Debora Rasio MD, and Dorothy Smith PhD titled "Death by Medicine". Next, buy Dr. Dean's 2005 book "Death by Modern Medicine", but first, read the reviews of this book. "Death by Modern Medicine" by Carolyn Dean is a blockbuster book that will bust the blockbuster drugs that have become the hallmark of modern medicine. It contains an unprecedented three forewords by Dr. Abraham Hoffer, the father of orthomolecular medicine, Dr. Joseph Mercola, well known for his top-rated web site mercola.com, and Dr. Julian Whitaker author of the famous health newsletter Health and Healing. This book identifies the tragic aspects of a medical system that in its short history of about eighty years, has managed to kill tens of millions of victims. Dr. Dean's widely circulated paper, "Death by Medicine", written for Dr. Gary Null in November 2003, was the first to identify the extent of these casualties. Dr. Dean verified that from 1990-2000 about 7.8 million victims suffered Death by Medicine. Many people were shocked at this figure, but since then people's eyes have been opened to the full horror of modern medicine. Her book is a tale of propaganda, health care bureaucracy, the business of cancer, our own personal addictions to sugar and drugs, and the denial we all harbor to help us cope with the overwhelming burden, are woven into this 360-page volume. if you have any interest in surviving "modern medicine", you must read this book. Here is a wonderful Opus cartoon that makes fun of this horrific problem.

Here is a year 2000 Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) article that places the annual iatrogenic (physician induced) death rate in the United States at 225,000, still maintaining their lead as the number 3 cause of death in the United States. 12,000 of those deaths were from unnecessary surgery (butchery), 7,000 from medication errors in hospitals (poisoning), 20,000 from other errors in hospitals (fuck ups), 80,000 infections in hospitals (filth) and 106,000 non-error, negative effects of drugs (poisonings).

If GPs knew better, I feel certain that their attitudes would be different, but they are the willing victims of multi-billion dollar physician educational (propaganda) programs by pharmaceutical drug pushers, and trillion dollar hospital investments. Physicians and hospitals have enormous financial incentives that steer them away from no-cost or low cost prevention-of-disease and towards expensive-treatment-of-diseases at our expense. They have no financial incentive under our economic system to keep you well, or to get you totally well. Their role seems to be to keep you sufficiently well so that you can get to their office or the hospital, perhaps because they no longer make house calls. They are unlikely to make nutritional recommendations that are sufficiently specific that would benefit the patient's particular illness. In other words, they are not likely to recommend nutrients to do the work of pharmaceutical drugs. Some day, if we are lucky, the playing field will reverse, and it will be illegal to prescribe a prescription drug to treat an illness caused by a nutritional deficit - as many of today's chronic diseases are. The international pharmaceutical drug pushers are very much aware of this major health-care issue, and they desperately want control of all nutrients (herbs, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids), thus their behind the scenes push to have CODEX implemented. At that time, these agents will miraculously be discovered by physicians to "cure everything!" However, you will be paying your 15% annual tithe to Big Pharma from then on. I now think that CODEX will be a death sentence to millions of people, and it will perpetuate and increase the iatrogenic deaths illuminated here."

The Queensland Government wants new laws introduced that allow a doctor's disciplinary record placed online for patients to see.

The laws, which should be in place by September, come after damning reports filed in the state's Parliament last month exposed endemic problems within Queensland's medical complaints processes.

That is a report everyone should at least skim through. Even JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine have been reporting on this for years.

But the article should be titled American Medicine, because medical care in the US is ranked 37th in the world lower than Greece, Cyprus, Ireland, Costa Rica,Chile, Morocco, does this give you an idea how the US is doing?

Medical care in these sorts of studies is usually equated with medical outcomes.

that is a total fallacy.

Medical outcomes are affected by MUCH more than medical care.

Here's a recent article, from May 5, by Jon Rappoport:

The medical cartel: too big to fail, too evil to expose

[link to jonrappoport.wordpress.com]

There are links throughout to several of his other pieces about the fraudulent science behind the FDA's approval of drugs as "safe and effective" even though they are killing people and they know it.

Quote from the article:

"It’s the medicines I want to focus on in this article. 106,000 deaths a year translates to an astonishing 1,060,000 deaths per decade.

How are these drugs approved?

Clinical trials are conducted. Reports of those trials are written. The reports, the studies, are published in peer-reviewed medical journals. The studies ARE the science.

If a million people per decade are being killed by the drugs, then a huge number of published studies proclaiming the drugs are safe are sheer fraud. There is no other way to put it.

This statement from Marcia Angell, former editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, echoes the fact:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.”

(Marcia Angell, MD, The New York Review of Books, January 15, 2009)

The medical cartel rests on cataclysmic fraud, scientific fraud.

Imagine what would happen if just one major media outlet decided to take on this story and push it for all it’s worth. Not merely an article or two—an ongoing campaign of relentless exposure.

The silence from that quarter speaks volumes about the controlled press and what it stands for."

There is definitely fraud in the medical industry. Many drugs are poorly studied and pushed through the approval process for profit. Some doctors will push unnecessary procedures or fail to take the time to give you proper care. However, there are a lot of good doctors out there that save lives and keep people healthy. There are a lot of drugs out there that really are safe and effective. Finding good doctors is the trick. Good doctors tend to take fewer patients so that they can spend the necessary time to do a good job. They will always try to keep you healthy with as few prescriptions as possible. They will never rush you out the door or push anything on you. They will teach you about the things you need to do to stay healthy. If your doctor's waiting room is always packed, or you only get to talk to them for a minute or two, or they never talk to you about your diet or take the time to explain how your medicine works and what all the side effects are, etc, be wary.

Here is the text of the famous talk given by

Dr. Joel Wallach,

"Dead Doctors Don't Lie",

it is a very good speech and well worth reading and re-reading (even though I think he's wrong about calcium and magnesium :-)

However I must apologize for the ca. 1999 graphic design, it is almost unreadable, very hard on the eyes, but worth copy pasting into your text editor for a better reading experience:

[link to kingmaker.net]

Here's a short excerpt from that great article:

" The average life-span for an American today is 75.5. The average life-span for a doctor or an MD is 58. If you want to gain 20 years, statistically, just don't go to medical school. Also, if you want to know information about longevity, you are going to be better off asking a bus driver than you are a physician. For longevity.

Now there are two basic things you have to do to get there. If you want to live to be 120-140, there's only two basic things, real simple. Number one, you have to avoid the pitfalls. You have to not step on the landmines, I call it, (and those of you in the military you know what that means. You do something stupid like step on one of those things, you kill yourself, wastefully, or unnecessarily). And of course if you play Russian Roulette, or smoke excessively, or drink excessively, or wear a black sweatsuit and run down the middle of the highway at 2:00am, (you're going to get struck by a car), - all of those things are foolhardy, but it is amazing how many tens of thousands of people die in America from doing those stupid things every year. There was these kids who sat in the middle of a highway and got killed, college kids, it's amazing.

The last thing I will share with you on that subject of avoiding the landmines, I suggest very strongly to you that you avoid going to doctors. Because given half a chance they will kill you. And I am going to back up that statement (which is a pretty strong statement) with a statement from Ralph Nader's group in January of 1993. Just about a year and a half ago, January 13th, he put out a news release based on a 3 year study on the causes of death in American hospitals. It was a 1500 page report, a 3 year study, I'm not going to waste your time or mine by going over the whole thing word for word, but the bottom line says a lot. And here it is, quote, this is from Ralph Nader now, (he's a consumer advocate for those of you who don't know him, he watches out for us), "300,000 Americans are killed each year in hospitals alone as a result of medical negligence." He didn't say they slipped away quietly, out of neglect in the corner somewhere, while they were waiting for an xray. He used the word 'kill'. And when you use the word 'killed', that means there was a procedure the doctor was doing that went wrong somehow. That means that gave them a wrong prescription, they put a decimal point in the wrong spot and gave them an incorrect dosage.

These people were killed, 300,000. To appreciate how big a figure that is, you have to compare that to our military losses in Viet Nam over 10 years, where we lost 56,000 people over 10 years, or an average of only 5,600 per year. On a field of battle where people had guns and artillery and explosives trying to kill each other, and millions of people poured out into the street in protest of that war. We had political anarchy in the last 3 years of the war. Students took over universities and colleges with guns and explosives. National Guardsmen shot students at Kent State in Ohio. We chased a President out of the presidency. For 5,600 military personnel a year. And here is one profession that takes your tax money, in the form of Medicare and Medicaid, and kills 300,000 of us a year, according to Ralph Nader, (and I believe him, he has no axe to grind). And you can go out in the street any day of the year and there isn't even a crazy street preacher out there with a sign that says "Protect us from doctors".

I want you to think about that, folks. That's number one. You have to avoid stepping on the landmines, so there is a certain value in treating yourself when you can. Or preventing disease we don't have to get before you treat it.

Now the second thing you have to do, number two, you have to do the positive things. I'm going to start out here by putting a figure up on the board, the number 90, and you need 90 nutrients in your diet everyday. You need 60 minerals, 16 vitamins, 12 essential amino acids or protein building-blocks, and you need 3 essential fatty acids. You need 90 nutrients in your daily diet, otherwise you are going to get a deficiency disease. If you don't have them in complete numbers and optimal amounts. I can tell you that I was one of those nerds back when I was in college. I had a clipboard, we didn't have computers, and I was one of those funny guys that would walk up and down in the student union there in Columbia, and I would say "Do you take vitamin and minerals?" I was still fascinated by that, and of course people would look at you crazy and say, "Yeah, I take vitamin E". I would wait for them to come up with the other 89 and they didn't. "

yeah so keep marijuana and shrooms illegal.
they should be regulated by a shaman or something.
fuck modern medicine.

10 years plus of taking tylenol pm for pain and so i could sleep has fucked me up, but why do i have problems and my 3 brothers, because mom and dad was brainwashed and we all took one kind of prescription or another, as kids! me and one of my younger brothers took accutane, seriously fucked for life. that's a whole other story right there, as i need help to get my share of what's owed to me by the lawsuit. but lawyers want me to have a diagnosed of chrons or ibs, which i have all the symptoms, but no money to go to doctors about it. and it seems it'll take several visits and procedures to get diagnosed. even when i did have jobs, warehouse or typing low pay bullshit that i always had to quit because of mental and physical problems. never any money to go to doctors to complain about, probally just as well. shit those pain pills are just so cheap. but now at age 34 that shit is killing me.

marijuana, which i have to get off the streets, which i started 2 years ago, has helped me get off tylenol, but when your poor and unemployed, fuck, 3 dollars for 50 tylenol pm!

for a good while 2 years ago, when i was working. off of pain pills and smoking weed only. i lost weight (mostly from working, but prob from stopping those pills) and felt the best shape of my life. but something happened, i don't know, and i was back to being fucked, i swear when i lose my big beer belly (a miracle since i don't drink) i get sick.

but marijuana has its ups and downs, esp if you can't pick what strain helps you, and sometimes if i have the chance i'll steal hydrocodone pills from my mom or grandma not just for pains and aches but damn, it gives me energy! and a good buzz, i won't lie, maybe if i was to take the pure 100% plant that is opium, not some witchcraft pill, then who knows, right?

now my mom is old and gets cheap/free medicare and gets diagnosed with cancer and gets worse health by doing what they tell her. she's too brainwashed and poor to change her diet and lifestyle. and now my dad too (i heard from my sister, he hasn't told me yet, and i don't know what he's doing about it) (my parents divorced 20 years ago)

i tried to show my mom and tell my mom about marijuana or even medical marijuana, but she won't even fathom the reports and news that it's good for you (she thinks that's the lie). yep, big gov's lies worked their ways

i've been reading up on accutane and i feel i'm gonna die soon. living in my 20's and now my 30's like a 90 year old man, taking health alternative shit that helps, but it's shit that mostly old people should only have to take. this is shit is too much. i need weed!

fuck getting diagnosed with diseases, if you don't go and get diagnosed, you don't have the disease! hey i don't have cancer and a lot of people i know don't have it, but we haven't been diagnosed!

fuck!

Re: Death by Modern Medicine: "Guns Don't Kill People, Doctors Do" You are 2,000 times more likely to be killed by a Doctor than by a Gun

Re: Death by Modern Medicine: "Guns Don't Kill People, Doctors Do" You are 2,000 times more likely to be killed by a Doctor than by a Gun
The doctors who created the former health care system that was world renowned took something called the Hippocratic oath. Today's doctors don't take that very important oath.

Doctoring is a calling. Just found out that the young guy in the office is married and the wife is pregnant. He was telling us all today that our insurance, which is spectacularly good, doesn't cover a 1 man/woman ob to deliver the baby so the wife had to switch to a still pricey clinic type group and has no control over who will deliver their baby. The guy was very upset because someone at their hospital when they went for the hospital visit said to them they need to hire an advocate so that the ob doesn't do a c section to make more money and get out of the delivery room early. Everyone in the office was a little shocked to hear all of this as most haven't had any kids.

Guy said when they questioned the doc as to why they wouldn't be around to deliver their baby particularly since they were spending an enormous amount of money he said the doctor got defensive and finally said "I have a life too and your baby isn't going to interfere with my life so, if you don't like our feelings, you are free to find a new doctor." This precipitated the guy telling the entire office as they tried to find a new doctor and no one would take them so they feel what is supposed to be a great experience is going to be horrible for them.

Found myself wondering what has happened to doctors. It must be the lack of taking the oath which begins "first, do no harm". Seems like all the doctors in this practice are doing psychological harm but don't seem to give a damn.

Here's some good advise. Don't take drugs of ANY kind. Exercise regularly. Eat a balanced diet. Drink lots of water. You'll be good to go.

COLD STEEL HEALS.

seems to many out here that OK, the doctors are not acting with malicious intent,
BUT
are only treating the symptoms, and not ending the illness.

back in the day, they got it under control and got rid of it.

in the matter of cancer, this IS a totally different entity and there are active threads out here on that scam.
