[ link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] we just had the precursor C and M flares to the mega X flare Its looking like X20-X40 or even greater energy now loaded into the sunspot No it's not. It has greatly decayed since those X flares. This is a small BGD that us complex, but not over X10. You should stick to fishing and leave the solar science to the experts. This region right now has a delta class magnetic field that harbors enough energy for a Carrington event level mega X flare. [ link to en.wikipedia.org]
