First generation American here, all family from Germany & Prussia, parents born in 1926. Very proud of my heritage and my family for seeing thru the BS both politcal and socially.

My Luftwaffe Dad was able to feed his family and have coal as a POW helping the American troops find resources (black market, etc.), because he knew some English. He was extremely grateful! He was then able to continue to Arbitur & Aachen for engineering degree, move to America. Contribute to American manufacturing and taxes to pay for lazy Americans.
