Anybody know?  Basically. It is proton absorption and radio blackouts in the polar regions. Thanks. Interesting, because here in NYC, cell phone calls were 'dropping' all day, even with strong antenna signals, yet, no way to call the person back for close to a minute. Then there's been digital glitches affecting cable tv signals. I wonder if this could this be related.
