These are some of the glaring errors contained in the user comments:

I did allot of fucked up stupid shit in my life. A million things I wish I could go back and change. But given the oppertunity I would not change a single thing because everything that happened in my life made the life I created possible. And for that all is perfect and happened exactly as it needed to happen. No regrets.

I'm also 63 and am profoundly grateful to have been blessed with a great husband, two great kids and one grand child. Yes, I worry that bad things may befall them, but good has come their way and both look forward to each day. Both have a sense of adventure, have great senses of humor, are bright, witty and all that a mother could want.

I love my life and my kids love theirs.

I feel the same way unfortunately. I'm happy I came to this realization before I had children.

You had them, but you didn't do it out of maliciousness and did it without the knowledge you had now, so you can't feel guilty about it.

Just do the best you can to reduce the suffering they (like all of us) will experience in life and know that this is all just temporary.

Hey OP hers something to ponder. How do you know your kids aren't on here? I know your not my parent. You know why ? My parents would never say something like this. Yours probably expect it from you, I hope they see your post and disown you so you can go to your shallow grave in a cardboard box all alone while they continue to live and perhaps have kids of their own who will live as well and never even wonder who you were.

What is more, Have you ever done anything besides sit behind a computer? Go ask that once upon a time 18 yr. old farm boy that went off to war and saw things that you cannot even imangine! Ask him if he ever got the sights and sounds out of his mind. Ask him about the smell of rotting flesh that he carries in his nostrils. Ask him about when he looks at his daughter, he see the little child bloated and riddled with bullets! Ask the parents at St. Judes If seeing their child suffering is worth it. And, I know they would take nothing in this world for them, but they would give anything not to put him through it! You can go to hell, Mister!

The best thing to do for your children is to give them the gift of laughter. Keep your worries to yourself. Don't burden them. If it makes you feel better, as I said before, tell them you worry...but tell them just once. They will probably tell you not to be so concerned about them and that they'll be fine. Then make every day a happy one for them if you can't do it for yourself....do it for them!

I have and do enjoy my children very much. They know I love them, we have a great time together. We can talk about anything including this! Why are you so nasty?

OP, I am a mother of two and not only understand your stance but partially agree with it.

You don't see the much bigger picture either. We each are on a journey filled with ups and downs and the goal is spiritual evolution. Just because you are not AWARE yet, doesn't mean it isn't real. Every breath we take is for our own spiritual growth and we are never alone.
