but, DNA is only reserved to the physical world.
spirits don't have DNA. why would they need it?

i think there is an effort to hybridize spirit/nonphysical with physical at the hands of the dark entity. and, i think that once a person is so drenched in wickedness that it marks the DNA (curses follow to the 4th and 5th generation). and, i think satan and demons can reside in human or physical DNA, for a time.

but, once we leave the physical world, there is a whole new set of "laws".

i have a genetic illness. i actually have two missing strings of DNA. DNA = the "flesh" of which i can clearly recognize the separation between Me and my "flesh". The flesh houses my spirit even while the flesh continues to decay, it is not Me.

Here is my take based on what I understand of Scripture...

Ok, so we know from Genesis that the ‘other worldly beings’ came to earth, had children and were eventually killed in The Flood.

These “Mighty Men of Renown” (Giants/Nephilim) had a different ‘spirit’ than you and I. These spirits apparently are able to remain ‘awake’ after death and influence things. They are wicked powerful.

We as humans, according to Scripture, have spirits that ‘sleep’ after death. We aren’t able to influence the living. We sleep until Resurrection Day. In other words, grandma isn’t in heaven yet. She is asleep.

The “Higher Ups” (Elohim, God, Celestials, etc.) had a difficult decision to make. How to get rid of these Nephilim without ruining this wonderful experiment called Humans and Earth that they worked so hard to create?

Two options…

#1) Fire – Fire destroys the evil Nephilim bodies AND spirits, but kills everything else too

#2) Water – Flood destroys evil Nephilim bodies ONLY. The spirits remain.

They chose #2.

So here we are… with ‘Familiar Spirits’ guiding the fate of mankind.

If you were stuck on Earth, for thousands or perhaps millions of years… without a physical body… and with no hope of salvation… what would you do?
