need more info, radiation readings of air,soil and water before they plant the seeds, while the seeds are in the ground and after harvest.

good point... but what if TEPCO do another drive by and say it is safe......

if the soil is poison; the soil is poison...

note: the farmers are only there for short periods.....

For two years now the rice from Fukushima has been mixed in with rice from other prefectures, to make the average radiation count be less than the inspection limit.

Gobble up those plutonium particles, boys and girls.

I have stopped buying ANY/ALL food items from Japan, including tea, because the whole agricultural inspection police in Japan is so utterly corrupt and has been exposed in the the previous dolphin/whale meat/neurotoxin fiascos and now again in the Fukushima accident aftermath.

And no, I don't have anything against the Japanese. I love the country, the people are wonderful.

I just will not willingly poison myself with high radioactive particles, if I can decide for myself.

There are plenty of alternative options from other countries.

Let me get this straight...

yes that should be a dead giveaway, the farmers themselves will only stay there for a few days at a time. This is absurd, this land IMO is unsuitable for anything until FULLY tested on every level. This rice should carry a warning label like a GMO should
