yea my son just graduated and cant get his birth certificate unless he has a state ID and you cant get a state ID without a birth certificate. TN law. So Im a little befuddled too.

The reason is new your state law limits them to a 2% fee. And even if I did find one, I really don't want to have to give up 2% on an 8k check. Can you give the check to your friend to deposit in his account? Then he can give you the money back. Give him the 2% fee for doing this for you.
