If you have no family to help you out, go to a Wendy's and say, "I'm homeless and I have no money." It is company policy to give a free meal to the homeless and unemployed.

Hi OP. I'd like to suggest that you change your online name so that you are not constantly thinking of yourself as a "Homeless Guy". Your brain takes things very literally. We are always creating our new reality.

Can you give the check to your friend to deposit in his account? Then he can give you the money back. Give him the 2% fee for doing this for you.

find a quiet spot were no one ever goes, plant Cannabis and return when its time to harvest. then sell it. if i were homeless id do that!

Not possible here. The local authorities already believe my friend--because he is an old school hippie--grows weed on his land. He has thrice been raided already in the last ten years, even though each time nothing was found.

I haven't posted to my thread in a while. Just wanted to say I hope all my friends from GLP are doing ok and have a great weekend.

The not so homeless guy anymore is now mobile. Picked up a used vechicle that still seemed to have a little life left in it

I'll be registering it and getting insurance on it tomorrow so will have a bit more mobility in my life

I'd go to a Goodwill store and buy the biggest pack I could find. get rid of the suitcases.

You should get a bucket and a squeegee and wash windshields at intersections. If people don't pay break off a windshiels wiper or key their car.

They will learn to pay.

OP..I suffer from the ear ringing as well. I did find a homeopathic medicine at Walmart (over the counter) called "Ring Relief."

While it didn't take it away completely, it did tone it down a bit. It cost $10.00. I've seen it at Walgreens too. Best part is that it is homeopathic, so I was okay with using it.

Heh, you need to read a bit more into the thread. That was a log time ago. Suitcases are stowed away now.

same reason they put up signs saying not to feed the wildlife at parks...the animals grow dependent on handouts and won't fend for themselves...

what exactly do you imagine that animals eat on golf courses? grass? It's not enough you destroyed their habitat so you could putz around on the golf course, but then won't give them any food, and then you gotta tell others not to feed them, too? Mind your own fuckin business.

feeding the animals should be mandatory, if you do not feed the animals you are a selfish person.

So as of today I am officially homeless.

I won't bore you all with long sob stories.

About a year ago lost my job of twelve years, couldn't find new work, made some bad financial choices, and today I sit in the public library on my old laptop typing away as all my posessions lay in three small suitcases very close to where I am sitting.

I think this might possibly be the worst place to be homless, given the horrible heat.

So I have seventy-five cents to my name, am not sure where I'll be putting my head down to sleep tonight, and was wondering if anyone else out there has been in a similar prediciment.

I'll update my story here as I can. Maybe a few people will find it interesting.
