ok so if Moore was underwater for 2 weeks would you be saying this shit? if you were in new orleans during katrina you would be sitting on your roof refusing help while your kids were dying of exposure and not having potable water. but at least you have your dignity . EEEEEDIOT!

Get out and get away means lives would have been saved (who gives a shit about property) and people could have been spared sitting on the roof, but there was a general sense of denial about the reality of that storm and those of us outside of NO marvel at the death toll when it was KNOWN it was coming for many hours if not days before it hit. I remember watching interviews with people in NO where people were very dismissive of the fact that they could get hit.
