Hospital Staff Should Frequently Change Their Cloths.
I am just wondering, has anyone else notice this. Why are hospitals, clinics, and nursing facilities. Allowed to have their employees walk around in public still wearing their hospital scrubs. I don't know how many people, I have counted, walking around with their scrubs on in public places outdoors. The hospital staffs are around sick people all day, they handle hazardous material, from the human body. Dead and Alive. You have people who have made contact with patients. And then go to a sandwich shop, for lunch still wearing their scrubs, they had on in the hospital room. I have scene so many people wear their hospital scrubs to work, while riding public transportation. It is possible that hospital employees are the biggest, health risk to the public. Simply because they walk around all day in those filthy scrubs. If the CDC wears complete contamination suits, to keep from either contaminating or being contaminated. Why are hospital staff allowed to walk around in public wearing the same cloths, that they wear around patients? Elizastorm

People should not take this lightly. This may be a bigger problem then we even know, for public health and safety.

We Wear 1 set of scrubs into the hospital and change into hospital scrubs for work.

After work we change and leave the hospital scrubs in laundry bags we leave our work shoes in a locker in the hospital.

There are specific safety protocols for contaminated scrubs.

Good point. It's well known for those of us that go to the gym, to change and shower. The gym is full of bacteria. Particularly Staph and MRSA. Your right, its reckless for the medical community to not adhere to higher standards.

Most fitness clubs now wipe down the equipment to avoid these issues. Never wear your workout clothes throughout the day.

The Hospital has a dress code, you can wear scrubs or dress cloths. It's a personal choice

I am happy to hear you do take proper caution, with your hospital uniforms. Now only if the hundreds of people I have witness, still wearing their scrubs while walking, mingling with the rest of the public in outdoors. Can follow your protocols.

Strange incurable virus, rising up and killing people. I hope anyone who works in a hospital, clinic or any other health care facility. Take great caution and not wear any of their contaminated work cloths in public.
