A Bank of England split on the prospect of new easing and disappointing monthly retail sales yesterday helped push the Pound lower across the board, including against its European counterpart. The soft retail sales are evidence that the UK economy is not out of the woods yet and more easing may be necessary after Mark Carney takes over the reins at the Bank of England. Any pullback in the fed & everything shrivels. EU is not great but quite possibly the current lesser of the evils for active traders. Japan is at near negative interest rates & shows no sign of improving. The global markets are still in deep crap, it does not matter how nice the window dressing, or how loud the cheerleading.
