In FL lottery winners cannot remain anonymous, yet silence. I started thinking like a PTB and it occurred to me that that kind of cash would turn somebody into a superpower. They could run for office, buy Blackwater or a news station, if they took all of it and bought silver they could bankrupt JP Morgan - and that's just off the top of my head.. I started to think about it and letting somebody have that kinda cash who didn't earn it is dangerous. Too dangerous to let it happen. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37829000 If they do announce who won it, $100 says its not real people. Why would the government give Joe Blow that kinda cash when they're capable of rigging elections, insider trading, murder and terrorism? I suspect the answer is; they don't. 330ish million after taxes isnt enough to be some kind of cartoon supervillan. |

You could buy lobbyists to sway policy, you could buy an entire police force, you could hire mercs to wreck shop - just saying - I don't think a government can put somebody randomly in a position of power like that. Yeah, a few mil and the winner is broke in a year. Half a billion makes a motherfucker dangerous and there's no guarantee some idiot is going to win. You couldn't leave that number to chance - not when you have complete control of the outcome to begin with. |

I don't think I ever have...people must though.. getting off track, aren't I?? ...ha oh yeah powerball...I thought we were talking of the other nobody...carry on.. I only think same thing with all that crappy adverts, i'd imaginw they're all linked somehow so the company paying for adverts is owned by the company selling it lol? be some sort of tax gain there..and again I repeat myself about the cayman islands 21 trillion dollars of un taxed (mostly illegal) money just sitting there accumulating interest! doesn't any1 see this? $21,000,000,000,000 accumulates how much interest p/a? people should be outraged, nope nothing |

They are provided with a piece of the action. All lotteries are fixed, just think about it. The computers know what numbers were not chosen in combination and they print that ticket. Then they show you live on television the numbers being drawn, except that is where the editing comes in. They edit the winning numbers together to make it look as though the drawing took place before your very eyes. Edit, splice and print. Add the continuous music in the background and voila. Who gets all the money? The government does. It is just another scheme to rob you. Wake up people. |
