[link to www.swpc.noaa.gov] Lots of radiation from the CME + jet plane fuel + no ground or anything. They should not be flying anywhere near the poles right now the radiation and other heat producing effects has the potential to blow up a plane. Wait until we are dosed with the full brunt of yesterday's two events on the 27th. Especially the second one. Propane tanks and acetylene tanks were blowing up in Vancouver yesterday and all over north america when it popped. Imagine what would happen with a plane full of gas under pressure. Suicide by flight career is the proper term. They should at least be putting a quiet word out there to say the gas is bad or something and it'll take a couple of days..etc...etc.. Anything, planes falling out of the air isn't a good thing. Especially over high population centers. |

Natural Resources and Ecology Minister Sergey Donskoy on Thursday set a three-day deadline to draft a plan to evacuate the North Pole-40 floating research station. âThe ice is disintegrating,â AFP quoted a ministry spokesperson as saying. âCracks appeared in the floe.â If the situation is not addressed, it may also result in the loss of equipment and contaminate the environment near Canada's economic zone."
