Most of the peole here are very old. In fact, I'm the youngest left here. Its kind of sad but inevitable. They are consolidating these small communities to bigger places. You can stay if you want but there will be no more electricity, water, road care, etc. People get a little money to move, so I accepted. Quoting: Shinto Trainee Slowly the plants will be reclaim the site. It will be covered in green slowly, an abandoned and forgotten town. Most of the buildings are made poorly and will collapse in a few years. It is a sad and beautiful thing to think about. Why won't there be electricity or water? Usually you can get electricity from the local utility company for a one time fee and water from neighboring counties. |

The population is old, this will continue to happen. yep, too many women focused on empty jobs, living the hello kitty dream, and never having a family. As a broad generalization, japanese women are so immature they make americans look stoic and grounded. Now I have something to think about at work. "The circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." -Mewtwo |

I think its just too expensive to provide electicity and other services to these tiny towns so there is a movement to close them down. There are many such places, this is happening all over Japan. Soon it will be happening here, too... its already ben happening here. one example is pitcher Oklahoma I live 12 miles from that place . but the reason why pither was closed and the people payed to leav is because of lead poisoning and to many sink holes |

The Mountains here are very sharp and there is not much Space in between for Farming, this make it very problematic for Gardening! |

Until the middle of the Eighties nearly every Japanese stayed in Japan for their Holidays and going to Hawaii, Guam or Bali was very expensive, so they build big Hotels which are empty since years! There are many such places, this is happening all over Japan. in the U.S. this is called 'encouraging cluster community growth'. no joke. it's a UN action that continually is working in the shadows to motivate people to move from rural areas to what has already been designated as a 'cluster community'. Cluster communities are small cities that are in semi-rural areas. I wouldn't doubt that Japan is merely trying to herd the sheep into tight areas so they can control them. The UN's goal IN THEIR CHARTER is to REDUCE THE WORLD POPULATION TO 500 MILLION PEOPLE. they can't do that until they get everyone herded in for the culling. not a theory. not a theory. |

I visited some family in an old rust-belt Pennsylvania town not too long ago and the same process is happening there. Main street is all shuttered and broken down. The biggest advertisers in town are the funeral homes, yeesh. A long, slow decline is in progress. |

Pretty sure this is a well documented goal of socialists / communists. Think about that. What IS a commune? People living together closely and sharing all the work and food, etc. But one of the main reasons for close living quarters is not necessarily control, but disease. The more closely people live, the more quickly nasty germs are spread. Look it up. |
Jaid0gz User ID: 2630300 Australia 05/24/2013 09:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | UN Agenda 21 at play. Moving you from remote rural areas to the city where they can house you in large apartments with greater population densities. The rest of the countryside will be left as ecological sustainable areas and human activity is restricted. If you get bought out, you can't buy back in, and there's going to be HUGE restrictions on buying rural land in the future. Most are turned into ecological rehabilitation zones. EDIT: I notice that the some people are also mentioning this; good job team, at least we're making dots connect today :) OH and P.S. anything to do with environmental sustainability (including that phrase) is related to Agenda 21, do your own research and you'll conclude the same.
