Subject I just got back from a rave...MY THOUGHTS

I'm a 20 year old male, going to raves is a love-hate thing.

I don't take drugs there. I just LOVE to dance and do my own thing. Today was great, I went with a mask on and so many people loved it, I ended up dancing with beautiful people and having a wonderful time.

Now. That being said. I am so utterly disgusted with the habits of the people.
Not the people, but their habits.

The majority of the people there looked...very unhealthy. They seem to cling on to behaviors that harm them, and a lot of age look overly aged. They're young now, but I wonder what type of health concerns will be in 10 years....

I've observed it. The excess ecstasy use. Alcohol. (I do believe the odd LSD trip there is okay, but then again, you don't know if you're ACTUALLY getting LSD-25.)
I do not expect many of them to have even relatively healthy diets if they indulge in these, but that's not for me to say. Their muscle-to-fat ratios certainly don't reflect it.

Many people are afraid to dance. You're at a dance event, and maybe 1/4 is giving it their all and seem to be having genuine fun. Many of the others seemed preoccupied with details, like what girls to "freak" with, how high to get, if they looked stupid, and genrally many seemed uncomfortable in their own bodies.

Its so sad to see my generation have so many issues.
Really. It's painful. I've been wondering lately why I can't find anybody like-minded to spent time with.
Dancing should be a lighthearted time, the second it stops being that leave. That's what I did. I left 20 minutes ago and it's not over.

Now it's turning into a rant. Any comments. Are you a fellow raver?
BTW it's DEMF, for those of you near Detroit.
