That's a very good possibility. We are going to see allot of strange drones in the skies in the upcoming years. I'm not too happy about that.

Only thing I could think of. Not sure if they can hover steady in 30mph winds.... but I'm sure its flight specs are classified anyway.

Honestly - I tend to think the more we see of this type of "UFO" I truly believe they are drones - even Obama himself stated they were being used for "terrorist" type situations - but who makes the decision (and when) if there are terrorist situations?

Nah - I think we are going to see "drones" like this - that are - quote: "Unidentifiable" Unquote.

What? Did you review the link and the video? It's on the local news station
 Quoting: *HAARP Lady*

OOOOOOO, well then! That makes REAL, doesn't it? Just as REAL as this!

You didn't read my post, AC! I said it was NOT identified! It was truly an "Unidentified" flying object! Geeezzzzz "read first" post after it sinks in, m'kay?

Well, what about this video I just posted? Is that an unidentified flying object too? The answer is no it isn't. You are NOT looking at anything flying in the sky. The whole thing was a hoax and the reporter in that video was FIRED for pulling the hoax.

Unmanned Surveillance Balloon To Hit the Skies

August 2006

By Grace Jean

UnmannedSurveillancePARIS — The next wave in unmanned aerial systems may hark back to the dawn of human flight more than a century ago.

Aeronautics Defense Systems Ltd., based in Israel, which produces tactical UAVs with sophisticated navigation and control technologies, has developed an unmanned surveillance aircraft that looks like a balloon but flies like a kite.

Again, even "Unmanned Surveillance Balloons" MUST REPORT any ACTIVITY with the FAA and local Air Traffic Control.

What is wrong with you people who think that things can just float in the air without permission from any agency??????

Stop wasting time with your thoughtless opinions, if it were indeed any "test", "drone", or "balloon", IT MUST BE APPROVED BY THE FAA and local AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL must also be notified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Helicopters are allowed to fly low due to weather condtions, News stories, Law enforcement needs, emergency flights, etc, etc, etc. The FAA and local AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL MUST KNOW what is in the skies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think about it, Jesus, you people are so quick to attempt to debunk that you throw logic and reason out the window.

I don't know what it is, it could be anything, I just hate for stupid ideas to waste space on interesting threads.

yes they must report, however they do not have to tell any tom, dick and harry, who calls, what it it. that includes the news and you, also, there are a lot of new faa rules regarding drones, such as no permit or flight plans for drones under 1800 feet over military bases or military land leased or owned by them, also the dhs has several new rules from the faa regarding flight times and heights. i used logic and reason, no such things as ufo's, so it must be man made and flown.I googled balloon drones, came up with several articles and googled drone rules faa and got all the rules right there, it is a drone pure and simple, there ya go, thanks for playing, Ed.

Look son, I'm glad you have time to "google" all day, but it is very odd that you didn't include any links to all those "facts" you made up.

You didn't use logic or reason, you just made shit up to support a lie you also made up

It is not a "drone", and all your little fantasy stories will make it a drone. You wanna know why??????

Drones have "sense and avoid" radar that let drones fly in domestic air space...THAT IS THE ONLY WAY A DRONE WOULD BE ALLOWED TO FLY OVER FRESNO CALIFORNIA! That sense and avoid radar signal allows ANY land based radar to detect the drones presense in the event the drone loses radio contact with it's ground pilot. It has to have that signal to AVOID COLLISION with DOMESTIC AIRCRAFT!

"Radar Avoiding" drones CANNOT BE FLOWN OVER DOMESTIC AIRSPACE!

You see boy, drones are remote controlled...there is no tiny little man sitting in a drone, they are controlled on the ground. If contact is lost between the drone and it's ground controlled pilot for ANY reason, LAND BASED RADAR MUST BE ABLE TO TRACK THAT DRONE!

Any radar can track that signal, the fact that the all drones have mass, even doppler radar found at any News station for weater reports, WOULD BE ABLE TO DETECT A DRONE!

Look, you have been served by me here and now...in fact I just owned you boy. Please do not make it so easy for me to destroy your opinions. Study hard, in fact, when you go back to High School after the holiday, ask one of your teacher to help you make an informed opinion.

Your smugness is offensive, I wonder how it must taste to you...next to that foot in your mouth.

There is a "such thing" as "UFO" dummy, it means "Unidentified Flying Object" which this object is.

OOOOOOhhh how does it feel to be owned like a jet ski at Lake Mead?

look boy, UFO = aliens/inter-dimensional beings/time travellers/what have you, around these parts, as far as i can figure - so no, they do not exist, however in the manner you are using the term ufo, it is still wrong, it is not unidentified any more, it is a drone. the gov does what it wants, if you can't see that, you are truly blind, if it wants to send a drone up to a thousand feet and watch whoever, it does, it also tells the mil bases and airports nothing. nobody has said in any of the reports that it was not seen on radar or had a beacon, which i am sure it did, saying something like this "i am a dhs drone, i am not the drone you seek, you do not see me - NDAA" i provided a link to pictures and a article about balloon drones, i also provided my search terms for anybody to duplicate, if your to lazy to do the work you don't deserve my time! you boy, own nothing, so bugger off little boy, i am done.
