I am trying to develop some sort of biology based explanation for the whole mess. It would be helpful if I had a brain to develop the theory with but here goes:

Mohammad had a type of brain injury which leads to hyperreligosity, pedophilia and... cult development.

David Koresh, Joe Smith, Jim Jones, Charles Manson and a bunch of other cultists who have sex with underage girls all had this illness to some degree. Obviously some folks on that list, like my Grandparent, kept it together better than others. There is a balance of good ideas and bad motivation.

People who are mentally ill attract people who are mentally ill. Like we're supposed to be mentally ill since we are conspiracy theorists, and being on this list reinforces our "deviant worldview"

Radical Islam, as a distortion of a faith that was initially conceived by someone with a problem, attracts folks with problems. And we, with our multicultural immigration policies, have created a bunch more folks with problems.

This is not good.

That is about how far along I am with this idea.


My Mormon relatives have killed babies in the name of religion. Well, one baby. Defending your faith can become very intense-then mix in being psychotic and delusional.
