Is anybody Watching the Mermaid New Evidence on Animal Planet??

It's fiction. Look it up on IMDB. There are two named actors for Rebecca - one playing in the dramatic scenes, the other for the one giving the interview.

At the end of the special, the credits roll and there is a tiny disclaimer that says its all fiction. The only thing that's real is the "bloops" the sound recordings underwater, and the fact that whales have been known to surface on the beaches. EVERYTHING else is storytelling.

A lot of people getting fooled. I was myself when I first saw the program. There was someone in another thread today that was soooo convinced it was real, everyone else telling her otherwise was a shill. She called GLP a disinfo agent and was going to consult her marine biologist friend and lawyer so she could start a campaign to spread the truth about the mermaids.

Why can't they be real?? Everything imaginable & unimaginable, seen & unseen has been created..

Most of this is fictionalized speculation. There is no reason why it can't be true. It would be more likely than not that this evolution did happen. But the show is what it is. A fictumentary.
I would say the reason behind it is to bring attention to the horrors of sonar weapons including underwater sonar and the infra sound facility in Alaska. Infra sound is the most devastating of all natural effects and I believe it is banded by the NATA treaty. It is horrible!

Its a stupid ass fictional documentary, laced with some real events.

I'm understanding this is a new film, like an update to the one called "Mermaids, the body found."

The first one was incredibly fun, even though fiction, I'd love to see this one as well.

The documentary is bullshit disinfo but I have an uncle in the Navy who have seen merman up close off the Bermuda triangle while deep sea diving. It carried a spear, had black scales as skin, red eyes, red hair and swam with a school of dolphins before breaking off into a deep sea cavern system.

He was told not to talk about it but shared this story with me.
