Kevin and Jen Potter, who are deeply religious, believe that a figure which appears mysteriously behind their daughter Erin in a photo is the Virgin Mary The photo of the 9-year-old girl from Kirtland, Ohio was taken just after they discovered her leukemia had returned. Erin was diagnosed with the cancer in 2007 when she was just 3-years-old. She had already undergone one bone marrow transplant, a procedure she was facing again right before the photo was taken. Mary appeared walking over the roof, within the church, above the roof at times. it was in the 1969-1970 time frame. hundreds of muslims converted after seeing this, it was unlike other appearances of Mary in that EVERYONE who went there could see it, not just a few people.
