My sister works for DHS and said this is a good thing. She says these people earn 150-300k a year buy new houses and expensive cars, appliances, you name it. Which that part seems good.

Also they use our universities to get educated and many never get the opportunity to get a job here or pay taxes. Shit my roommate is from Bali, just got his masters in electrical engineering and he can't find work and will be forced to leave in a few months if he doesn't.

There's a lot of decent folk who would be good citizens, consume a fuck ton, pay taxes and not rely on handouts and these people ate being forced out.

I don't know the solution but this could be ok. We need more educated people than we need landscappers and maids.

I just finished my masters in engineering. Out of my class, 40% were Indian, 30% were Oriental, The rest were American. This was at the start. When I finished, only one other American besides myself was left. 90% of the others stayed in the class in finished.

If us americans only care about the easy stuff and partying in college while the foreigners get masters degrees, we only have ourselves to blame.

Thus everyone in the world should be able to go to America and be an American if they like unless you are saying we aren't all created equal. I want to know what happened to Obammy's big speech about bringing jobs HOME and FINING companies that outsource. My hub's company has been outsourcing to India --- my job went with it along with an entire dept. Times that by several counties nationwide and you've got thousands of people out of work.

The kicker? Production is DOWN, complaints are UP, they're outsourcing to people who don't know shit about the area they're servicing and in the end, the claims are costing the company MORE. IDIOTS!

I'm an American C#/.NET developer with no college degree. Some of my Indian co workers have masters degrees and they're really no better than I am, some are quite bad. A degree, let alone an advanced degree, int really necessary for the majority of software development jobs out there. Natural talent and aptitude goes a long way. Too bad most don't realize it.

outsourcing and insourcing should only be done at the same time if a country has a lot of money and no people...they are strengthening the bottom of the pyramid and there is nothing you can do about it. you've waited too long. its not even worth arguing about anymore.
