heres a link to a picture of a bunch of UFO's over LA, i mean lanterns. hope i don't get banned for linking this [ link to www.trutv.com] so it was over london, anyway you get the idea, they are all blowing in the wind. they are clearly lanterns Remote control Chinese lanterns!  I'm pretty sure the Chinese lantern thing started out as a joke. Somebody must have some pretty good remote control technology for those Chinese lanterns now, look how fast they move.  they aren't moving very fast at all, what are you talking about. windspeed at 3000 feet was about 20-30mph. that looks about right. these winds are feeding the local fires up the coast a bit. sorry fail
