Very nice, OP! Would be nice to see a registered user pin this.

I study runes and Hagal always reminded me of the Star of David as well as the Fruit of Life. Not the stylized H you see in some sets, but the 6 pointed Hagal. Beyond its traditional meanings, of which there are many due to its versatality in the way it's rendered, there's something about it that seems to encompass all the runes at once. It's so intriguing I believe the horror some feel if it happens to turn up in a reading to be a product of misunderstanding.

I love to study symbolism, of all kinds, as a language but the runes speak to me like no other.

Well Hagalaz simple meaning is hail like in hail storm was said to be used on weapons of war.

I relatively new to bind-runes. I performed a ultra-deep meditation when I was in my mid 20's called an evocation and went into the "Shadow" of my being deep deep into myself and came up with a strange symbol that invoke something in me. It took me 15 years to "divine" what this symbol was and I am still trying to figure out what it means. The symbol was missing a two stroke to complete it but when it was complete it was the most powerful bind-rune I had ever seen and beautifully symmetrical...uni-cursal to. I call it The Aegis as it emanates powerful sense of protection. What I also learned was it relation to the hexagram! It is the inverse of the hexagram...then I learned that the hexagram is a bind-rune also now I learning the power of the bind-rune.

Take the peace symbol an earlier poster asked about. I didn't know it was a bind-rune. The peace symbol as a Young Futhark symbol for the letter z but it's upside down from the Elder or Older Futhark with a perfect circle around it making it a sigil/talisman or what I think it is which is an amulet to ward off violence.

This is my newest bind-rune using the known hexagram and my bind-rune in the middle to form an extra-ordinarily powerful bind-rune. When you look at it ask yourself what it invokes in you.

It surprises me that many don't know the Star of David is a bind-rune.
A bind-rune is any symbol composed of 2 or more runes there by combining their power to create a new power. I would be that 99.9999% of Jews don't know that the Star of David is a bind-rune or even what it means.

I know sacred geometry very very well and I know what the hexagram represents but what does it mean as a bind-rune! It gives me the sense it is a weapon type bind-rune.

I put my bind-rune in the middle and slapped a perfect circle around it and it pops huge time.

Tell me what you think...spare me bull-shit comments.

I have seen something like this rune during a meditation, on the handle of a sword, the star with a skull inside it enclosed by a circle.
