The cop that was shot and bled out, but survived
at the shootout with the Boston bombers, was shot
by Mass. State Police officers who arrived after the
shootout began and wrongly fired into the local cop's
position.

Also, I find it shocking that police don't even try
something short of execution to disarm a lady with
a knife.
