I am convinced based on the other thread that this is a neutron star. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6804715 Anyone on GLP with that kind of set up? Hmm, interesting.. Why do you think that? Just from prior readings and shows I have seen, wouldn't you think a neutron star this close already be wreaking a lot more havoc? I'm not an Astro wizard by any means, but I think if a neutron star was here, this would just be too noticeable. LoL Just looking at the pic run through adobe filters, it seems to display a magnetic field like Earth. The article states, the photos are taken in the far red light spectrum. Since when are magnetic fieldlines visible in the far red light spectrum? Here was my response in another thread: Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6804715 " Read this snippet about "Pulsars" ( which are rotating neutron stars): "Pulsars were discovered in late 1967 by graduate student Jocelyn Bell Burnell as radio sources that blink on and off at a constant frequency. Now we observe the brightest ones at almost every wavelength of light. Pulsars are spinning neutron stars that have jets of particles moving almost at the speed of light streaming out above their magnetic poles. These jets produce very powerful beams of light. For a similar reason that "true north" and "magnetic north" are different on Earth, the magnetic and rotational ....." Read More: [link to imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov] The link and description in it sure sounds a lot like this comet. There's also a pic on there of the projected fields and it seems to explain a forward facing tail." Also read the OP's other thread: Thread: Comet ISON - Quark Stars and Neutron Love. A neutron star, quark star, pulsar would not only had messed up the solar system long time ago, it also would have changed the movement of our sun since the sun would not be any more the heaviest object in the system. . :ase26122019: Annular Solar Eclipse - December 26, 2019 - Kannur, Kerala, India |
Hydra User ID: 40835084 Germany 05/31/2013 07:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Maybe another possibility. Quoting: Silent Wind "Nomad planets could be traveling at near warp speeds " [link to freethoughtblogs.com] "Nomad Planets Roam Our Galaxy" [link to news.discovery.com] Warp speed = faster than light speed Near warp speed = still faster than light speed Light speed = about 150,000 km/sec The harvard quote says 10 to 15 million kilometers per hour. That makes 2,800 to 4,200 km/sec. I guess, you will admit, that this is far away from light speed let alone warp speed. . Hydra User ID: 40835084 Germany 05/31/2013 07:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | “Early analysis of our models shows that ISON’s brightness through April can be reproduced by outgassing from either carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide,” said Karen Meech, at the University of Hawaii’s Institute for Astronomy (IfA) in Honolulu. “The current decrease may be because this comet is coming close to the Sun for the first time, and a “volatile frosting” of ice may be coming off revealing a less active layer beneath. It is just now getting close enough to the Sun where water will erupt from the nucleus revealing ISON’s inner secret.” Quoting: Good read! Isn't it that, what I said two days ago (May 28) in our other thread? ... Quoting: Hydra This is also an explanation for the observed drop in brightness vs the calculated brightness: ISON is running out of volatile gases and the sublimation of CO2 and water ice didn't yet start. The further development and brightness of ISON depends on the amount of CO2 and water ice it has. ... Good read, too? . :ase26122019: Annular Solar Eclipse - December 26, 2019 - Kannur, Kerala, India |

And...what is to make anyone think these photo's are not made up to fit the bill they want to portray? I mean c'mon, they went to the moon (hee hee, yea right) didn't we? If they pulled off a hoax back then, you think they don't still do it today? I think there is most likely some strange things going to happen in these times, but be very weary unless you see it for yourself. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 812038 United States 05/31/2013 08:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It could be something else, I don't know. It just seems like it has a lot of gravity to have a tail that long that far away from the sun. The brightness, even in the pictures seems odd for it still being so far away. Is all that brightness coming from the reflection from the sun's light. Who knows, I am just posing a bunch of unanswerable questions. |

So you suggest, all amateur astronomers, making photos of ISON, are part of the conspiracy? [link to www.aerith.net] [link to www.kometen.info] :ndggoon: . It's 'not' a conspiracy. People make mistakes in measurements and calculations all of the time. I never understood why you are so adamant on posting in EVERY single thread and then you side step all the real questions answering only that which helps your cause. Sorry Hydra, no dice my friend! The closest distance it will be to us could still never perturb anything at all, we're talking 100's million miles. But how it will effect the sun, closing in at 800,000KM... that has remained to yet be seen. I do not believe it is one thing or the other. So far it still 'appears' to be a comet, but there's not discussion of its rotation speed or anything. So until then, whatever I say tomato, you say tomahto. |
