This Ap lets you scan products to determine if they are Monsanto or not

Is there an Android version of this? I'm going to look and I'll edit it in if I find one, but figured I'd ask just in case someone knew already.

Edit: Yep right there in the Google Play shop. Feel sort of silly even posting and asking about it initially. Looks like the same app, just for Android.

I sent this to all my friends and family and they are using it now. Its cool to see where things actually originate.

totally useless. it only tells you who owns the rights to the product. not who manufactured it or where they bought the stuff to make it with.

I work for a company that manufactures cleaning products for major brand names and we get our materials from all over the world. none require listing the source of the material and some dont need to be listed at all. the food industry is the same. and the country it was mad in only means FINAL ASSEMBLY. meaning that parts of it can be made in other countries and they dont need to be listed.

you really have no way of knowing whats in your products unless you contact the manufacturer and even then they will likely lie to you.

Naw, it provides a whole tree of companies for many products. Of course its not perfect yet for every single product, but its a great start.

The Android version is riddled with bugs. It failed to recognise most products I scanned & crashed after every new product submission, immediately forgetting them when it was restarted.
This is a great idea but they need to fix it asap.

iPhones don't carsh and neither do the aps. Might be time for a real phone.
