I'm a retired flight attendant, and I get free travel. I have traveled all over the world with no problems. I had planned to go to Istanbul this week. If not...next week. I thought it was relatively safe. I heard it's beautiful. Glad I didn't go.

An actual gunfight in the parliament might be a bit too much, but there is an exchange of insults by party leaders and discrimination policies by Erdogan that lead to polarization on the streets. Bizaro times that Erodgan is now buddies with the Kurds and treats the secularists and Alevis as enemies.

Not the first Kurd official injured in protests. Off course they don't trust Erdogan, i wouldn't too if i was a Kurd, they want just the constitution change and Erdogan has sold his soul to the devil for the presidency. Weird and fragile political alliance imo.

I want Erdogan to make more laws to restrict everything,to give orders to police to be harder , then MAYBE uneducated people (%30-40 of population)will understand that we are losing our democracy,republic and secularism... He wants to be number 1 puppet of TPTB

Erdogan shot his head. For earning a few dollars more, he wanted to build a new mall. He assigns the building job to his relatives and they earn money. There are a lot of malls in Istanbul. The biggest mall of middle east exists just 2 kms away from that place. I didnt see such a bullshit in my life. If you have money, go to that mall and spend your fucken money. Why do you cut trees? Thats the last green land Turkish people have at the center of the city.
