Yeah that was pretty gross. But I'm sure this is a homosexual affair. Why else would it "blow political agenda out of the water" - the "agenda" at the moment being to promote gay marriage. Maybe this involved a gay MP who was pretending to be straight and who voted against gay marriage or something. Can't see any other boring affair having much effect on policy.

This is England we're talking about. The citizens might be shocked to learn that their leaders are straight and having an affair.
