Some may like that idea. But if you get a drink at a bar (as an example) the restaurant had to pay the tax on the margarita mix, the alcohol, the salt, the glass. Prices would skyrocket. Imagine a pizza price! Or clothing. Tax from each company for fabric, buttons, snaps, clasps, thread. Of course, passed on to you. Doesnt sound so good now, huh? If you research how such a tax would be implemented, I don't think you'd be opposed to it. |

That is not a FLAT TAX  .....that is a VAT TAX(Value Added Tax) where things are repeatedly taxed at many levels right up to the end user/consumer.
