Another awesome movie (despite the sketchy Boston accent)... Edge of Darkness. The look in his eyes when he faces down death (like when he's about to be run down by a car, or in We Were Soldiers when he's about to get shot on the front line by the enemy, or all the way back to Lethal Weapon, he's basically suicical, not afraid of death!!!) totally I don't know, energizes me! Like hell. Yeah, bring it on, bitches!!

OP, sorry your thread got off track. I wanted to ask why you think Gibson went a little crazy sometimes-just the stress? He has seemed quite intelligent in the past..before his rants. But I try not to judge that, I don't know how people can stay level headed in that industry, but I have seen a few who keep it together.

I think MG has always been a little so-called "crazy." As for the infamous J-ws rant, another poster on another thread pointed out that he does work in an industry 98% run by you know who.... So he might have had an off day and went a little overboard that night with the cop (with all the producing, and filmmaking he does on his own as most definitely an "outsider.") He's got to have it hard and be frustrated! And he's fully admitted he's a drinker..... As many of us Scot-Irish people are and suffer for it. But I am a conspiracy theorist, why else would I be posting here? I may be going out on a limb here but Mel Gibson suddenly gets pulled over driving intoxicated when he's probably been dong it for years? I think he believed he was set up, thats why the tirade. And his girlfriend? Another set up, from the "Devil." He knows now what he's up against, and that's why we haven't heard from him in a while. .. I think we haven't seen the end of superstar Mel. I pray for him and us that the best is yet to come!
