I used to work for a not-for-profit catholic hospital. At the end of every year, once they paid off all the bills, whatever was left over was divided up for every employee. The CEO was a nun, so she was not paid.

Since then a "not-for-profit" conglomerate university hospital took it over. The hospital makes profits of $6 billion, The CEO makes $3 million a year, every 6 months there are lay offs of the common workers.

This is the norm in the industry because your bill is also paying for the illegals and those who do not have insurance.

So if 1 in 3 pay, your the one who gets to pay for all 3 bills.
