28.75% of Blacks are on welfare compared to 5.13% of Whites

It is 70 years of Great Society welfare programs that have done this. Used to be that if you didn't work and didn't follow generally accepted rules of societal conduct, you didn't eat and didn't have a place to live. Welfare changed that by allowing poor behavior and poor life choices to no longer have bearing on one's ability to acquire life's basics. Most urban blacks are assholes because they can be, because their is no longer a social or financial consequence for being an asshole. That being said, lower class whites are developing the same self-destructive habits and are catching up quickly.

I can remember Years ago Okra making statement on her show that more whites were on welfare than blacks. At the time, I knew the statistics and knew that she was Intentionally misleading people into believing this. I stopped watching her after that.

Anyone who gets their facts from Wikipedia clearly lacks proper research skills.

Most of the people who receive benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are actually white. U.S. Department of Agriculture data from 2013, which administers welfare, 40.2 percent of SNAP recipients are white, 25.7 percent are Black, 10.3 percent are Hispanic, 2.1 percent are Asian and 1.2 percent are Native American. You should buy some more meth and shrimp with your welfare benefits.
