Muslim leaders condemn the "Holocaust"
Several Muslim religious leaders from around the world condemned the recently alleged Holocaust during World War II.

On May 22, knelt imams and Muslim intellectuals from Bosnia, India, Indonesia, Jordan, the Palestinian territories, Saudi Arabia and Turkey in a solemn prayer for "Holocaust" victims. The prayer was held at the "wall of death" at Auschwitz, where many people are reported to have been executed during World War II.

"We bear witness to the terror and tragedy of the Holocaust where millions upon millions of human souls perished, more than half of them were people of faith jew" , it says in a statement signed by 10 Muslim leaders. Among the signatories are president of the Islamic Society of North America, Imam Mohamed Magid and India's Chief Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi.

Henceforth, it said in the statement that they were also concerned about developments around the world: "With the alarming rise in anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and other forms of hatred, rhetoric and bigotry that is needed now more than ever that people of different faiths stand together for truth, peace and justice. " They also promised that something like the Holocaust would never again happen: "Together we pledge to commit ourselves to" never again "ever more will be done, and we stand united against injustice wherever they can be found in the world today. " Finally they said that Muslims would stand shoulder to shoulder with their Jewish brothers and sisters to condemn anti-Semitism in all its forms.

Their visit to Auschwitz in Poland was part of an anti-genocide program where you want to raise awareness of the Holocaust. The program was organized by the U.S. State Department's Office of International Religious Freedom.
