I suppose in my small way - when I 'vent' on here - it helps me to get it out of my system - so I can face the people I see from Day-to-day going grocery shopping. People that fill their baskets with potato chips and pop (and beer) and use an ebt card for everything (but the beer of course). It sickens me to think they don't even try! It all comes down to "laziness" - it's not that they CAN'T work it's that the system has made them so dependent that they do not WANT to work! Therein lies the conundrum, my friend! If there could be a consensus of everyone on welfare - I would bet you that 45% of them shouldn't even be there.

Thanks for the kind words, but I think you've got it backwards on the kindness. I am practical to the point of being cold-hearted.

You want everyone to reach the high standards that you set for yourself, that you see as proper. You want to work for example.

It's quite important to me that I am not a patsy. Not taken advantage of. I guess there were a few incidents early on that made me decide that was a life-goal of mine, to stop being taken advantage of. I do not think I am better than others in a basic sense -- we are all eternal souls. But I want to enjoy the easy life too, rather than thinking myself above all of it. I am not.

There are wonderful eternal experiences in life. Paying for other people's kids, no matter what the excuse or moral-code explanation, is not one of them. It's just too much trouble!

And thanks for saying I am worthy of some karma. I don't have an account, specifically because I want total anonymity and disagree with the karma system.
