Against my better judgement, I've watched two episodes of this show and it's actually kind of interesting. The places they drop these people (naked, no water, no food and with only one survival object of their choosing) for the 21 days are pretty gnarly. It's like watching a cave man and woman.

What's also interesting is that, at least in the two episodes I've seen, the men get pretty badly injured at the start, leaving the women to do most of the survival work for both of them for a good portion of the time. And in both episodes, it has been the woman that has caught the animal food they needed to survive when both of them were attempting to hunt. Maybe it's just the men the show attracts or maybe women have a survival strength that I didn't think they would have. I just sort of assumed that the physical and mental intensity of it would have been something the men would deal with better, but that's not how it has been playing out. Don't mean to offend anyone out there - just observations (from a woman).
