My ears would start ringing and buzzing and body would start vibrating. This would happen almost nightly. I knew what was happening but I would stop it from happening because I was scared. Quoting: sweetnsour One night my hubby was annoying me(lol), so I slept in the guest bedroom and it started happening again. This time I just let go and let it happen. I was flying in the sky over tree tops, buildings and a cemetary. It was really cool and I felt so free. The thing is, since I moved back to NY, it stopped. Perplexing. If anyone else has had OBE's, please share and tell us about your experience. -Peace and Love Yes, I've had several. I remember my first time like it was yesterday (it was in 1993- wow 20 years ago). I have had several since. I too feel the buzzing and hear a really loud noise, it always startles me bc I'm like "doesn't anyone else hear that?" Then I realize I'm floating out. It's really cool, and very exhilarating. I hear it can happen more often if you travel, maybe unfamiliar surroundings contribute to it? I felt an overwhelming feeling of butterflies in my stomach, and I was really flying. I have had dreams of flying before but this was totally different, like I was on a roller coaster, and I was very lucid. It was great. After that I started doing some research (I was in 10th grade at the time, sleeping at my grandparents' house bc we were displaced after Hurricane Andrew) and found out what OBEs were. All the "symptoms" matched up. Since then I have been really into experimenting with them. WHile I don't get them as often as I would like, when I do it's very exciting and unmistakable. I find that when I TRY too hard, once I notice that I'm leaving, I sometimes snap back. I think it's because I try to overanalyze it or I get too excited. It's happened to me a couple of times. The first time I heard really loud bickering at the foot of my bed, like two asian ladies screaming at each other. That happened when I was in college (and no I wasn't drunk LOL). I thought I'd be more scared, but I wasn't. They eventually fizzled out, then I woke up. Vibrational state is the perfect time to 'ride it'. Keep your emotions in check, and enjoy the ride. Though, sometimes it can get a little scary. Quoting: Septenary Man Yes! Vibrational state is also really good for cleansing your aura and controlling your bioenergies. you can induce it at will if you practice. other good energy exercises are exteriorizing your energies and absorbing but you gotta be careful you don't pick up negative stuff. vibrational state helps clean your energy field, you can induce it by moving it up and down, like scanning your body so to speak. While I don't get scared when I wake up in a VS, I do notice sometimes I think about it too much so I snap out of it. I have to be conscious enough to be like , oh ok relax, and ride it out, like you said. When I was a teenager I could "dream" and leave my body and actually see what other people were doing, they would confirm it with me. I would also dream the same dreams as others. Very weird. It was so clear to me. maybe the "aliens" everyone keeps describing are just extraphysical beings that look different than humans, like a ghost with no features or something like that. I don't know, it was just a cool realization to me at the moment, and then someone recently posted a video here that describes all bizarre unexplainable phenomena as different instances of the same altered-like state of consciousness that we experience during OBEs. it just really resonated with me bc it helps sort out a lot of unexplainable stuff that has happened to me before I even knew of this site. let me see if I can find it... I have also rolled out like I'm rolling over in bed and then noticed myself sleeping, then I realized Oh crap, I'm out! Other techniques I've heard of include pretending you're on a hammock, to "shake" your energetic body loose and other things like that. the fact is that prior to this experience, i had a few obe when i was fully conscious and i felt my (etheric) body starting to raise. just that in those occurrences i could not see, and the mind panicked. when i was awake through the heart center, at first i was convinced that i am normally awake, and i awaked normally from bed. i realized that i am not in the physical body when i felt a magnetic sensation in my feet. although i could fly, the reality was 100% like the normal one. with solid floor and walls. this was my big surprise when i wanted to enter through a wall, and it had 100% the same texture as in the regular awake state |

You fucking dunce, no wonder Americans are better than you at ice hockey. Anyone is better than me at ice hockey. I have never played. LOL and okay, too funny. -Peace and Love You'll get off the peace and love wagon soon enough when someone pisses you off, like an Asian driver in traffic. And you will want to, if not actually punch them in the face! Stop kidding yourself, we are animals like all other animals, we have our instincts. Well thats why my user name is sweetnsour. People do piss me off and I stand up for myself, BUT in a way that is looking to resolve rather than instigate. Don't be so upset that I chose peace and love above all else. Thats a question you need to ask yourself...why are you upset about that? We are animals and have those instincts as well BUT it is looking towards the higher road and chosing to respond from the heart. I think you're funny with the Asian driver thing. Reminds me of something my hubby would say. *smiles* -Peace and Love |

Quoting: eekers Yeah the involuntary ones definitely catch you by surprise! Have you seen figures around you when they happen? It's happened to me a couple of times. The first time I heard really loud bickering at the foot of my bed, like two asian ladies screaming at each other. That happened when I was in college (and no I wasn't drunk LOL). I thought I'd be more scared, but I wasn't. They eventually fizzled out, then I woke up. Never seen figures but have gotten paranoid about demons being in the room while trying to induce obes before, only to open my eyes, mess it up and see that nothing was there. The only time I have had a BAD OBE experience was a month ago when I felt something dark and sinister trying to pull my soul out of my body. It was a struggle and scary and I had to rebuke whatever it was in the name of Jesus to make it stop. I started crying afterwards. - Peace and Love don't laugh, but earlier this year I had a spontaneous one and saw 2 figures, one looked normal, but the other one looked like your stereotypical alien. tall, skinny, greenish-grey with the big eyes. you'd think I'd be scared, but the only reaction I had was like an A-HA moment of thinking "maybe all these people thinking they are getting abducted by aliens and probed are really just having OBEs!" It was so clear to me. maybe the "aliens" everyone keeps describing are just extraphysical beings that look different than humans, like a ghost with no features or something like that. Yes that definetly could be. Who knows. Nothing in life is set in stone. Every experience is unique and I think we are all trying to figure things out, if thats even remotely possible. -Peace and Love |
