Not necessarily....tweens, teenagers, young adults especially tend to try and emulate their music/movie star idols. They will emulate their style of dress, and their behavior, etc.

If the big stars demonstrate trashy and risky behavior, many of their young fans...and sometimes old...will try to copy their behavior.

That is one of the reasons smoking became so popular in the 50's through the 70's...all of the big stars smoked on screen in their movies and made it seem "cool" so everybody copied them.

The stars are well aware of this.
The executives are well aware of this.
The producers are well aware of this.

They do influence behavior to a degree and they know they do.

I have a friend who is mid level famous due to husband being a very famous sports player. One of the networks offered her a movie deal. But said first they have a Hollywood psychic she needed to meet with to help her decide if she should do it or not. She decided not to do the movie because of how long she would be away from her kids. But I always thought that was strange that they wanted her to meet with a psychic (who was going to fly out to her for free).

My husband works in film, not an actor, but works personally with them in another department. There is some seriously weird shit that goes on, but they are not all like that at all.

Hollywood will be wiped off the map

C`mon people everyone knows theres no problem with America, its all those crazy muslims.

I could buy that all of this Hollywood conspiracy theory stuff is just an "urban legend" or myth...but, if it is, there are some very high level executives out there with very little concern for the negative effect they have on the general population..and even less of a conscience.

for example....rap and hip hop music. The Black community in the US is in some serious trouble. The culture in black urban areas is beyond toxic. This culture has been heavily influenced by Hollywood and the music industry.
What is Hollywood doing to help turn this around????? Absolutely nothing...not only are they not trying to promote entertainment to be any type of positive influence on the black community..they are continuing to promote every possible type of destructive behavior possible...feeding into the stereotypes..promoting them.

They can see what is happening in these communities and how bad it is, but instead continue to just make money off it.

This is just one example.

If they are not luciferians, they are at the very least sociopaths.

In regards to rap and where hip hop went from the late 80's to the present day, it's somewhat of a chicken vs. egg situation.

Yes, there are major labels that promote the top acts that get played on the radio but it's a different paradigm now that rappers can become famous via the internet. While I can only speculate on the intentions of the top executives in the record industry, a business is a business; they have no obligation to set a moral standard.

For example, if rappers that are credible as drug dealers are what the masses want to buy, that is what will be promoted. In turn, it influences more rappers to be "about that life" in their music.

Is that not what the proverbial "Jesus lover" wants?

If a situation presented itself for them to become martyrs then I would imagine their overly zealous sense of righteousness would be validated. Until then though, they just continually look for opportunities to be seen as victims, ironically, for believing something that's supposed to give them strength.
