They are still critical of conspiracy folks and actually are resentful that we are right. They liked acting like an ostrich, it made them feel safe. They liked it better when you were the butt of the office jokes, it made them feel more intelligent. Now you reduced them to your level and they are offended. They can't wait until someone proves you wrong, they rather accept an obvious lie and go back to mocking you. All you wanted to do was help them understand these confusing times. They'll turn your name in for a reward, bonus etc. Don't gloat.
