The desperate, needy search for validation. Man has many abilities and talents for which can accord him the respect and recognition of his peers. Woman does not, and this lack of options to achieve social appreciation also renders self-respect impossible. Hence the sluttiness. The ugly ones dress overtly sexual to substitute their aesthetic unpleasentless while the pretty ones do so in order to amplify the parameter of potential 'attention payers'. Now, you might say that social respect and recognition and being ogled at are two different things. In a way, they are. Like Wagyu beef and Spam. Everybody in his right mind would opt for the first, but women also lack the refined psychological palette of men and thus settle for the cheap variant without paying any mind to the more ambitious alternatives.
