Sadly I agree with this. We've crossed the Rubicon with all the spying scandals that have been leaked. There's no turning back things to the way they were now. Trust in our government hasn't just been eroded, it's been annihilated. Not much will wipe these runaway news stories off the map. Only a few paths ahead of us now, and none of them good.

Even during this week wouldn't surprise me much at this point. The pan is definitely heated - the question is; who gets seared, "us", or "them", and I guarantee you "they" are making the precautions necessary to keep themselves clear, while turning up the heat on "us".
