I wondered why the boring ass tv shows DEFIANCE and FALLING SKIES existed. They aren't true classic scifi, they are just wild west wars with aliens.

But the theme of Defiance and now Falling Skies is humans and aliens sharing the planet. In Defiance it was somewhat accidental but FS has an "evil" alien race the others are working with humans fighting against.

Both shows likely have twists ahead to remain entertaining but there it is - share the planet with aliens. I was wondering when the fuck we went from no way in hell to its not so bad on the subject of alien invaders.

IMO You're WAY off base. I believe that they DID make contact,that they made some sort of agreement with the World's Governments, at least some of them & that the Governments didn't hold up their end of the bargain.

I saw one with my mate last night, this time it was stationary.. black as the sky, NE of the Big Dipper @ 10:20pm and i'd say about every 12 seconds the "object" BLINKED (once) like a strobe light in place, 4 times.
then stopped.
( i didn't see anything structural since it was so black, so i am not sure if you want to consider it an " object " )

so i can't say it was an unidentified " vehicle " since it was invisible. But it definitely was so bright (LED LIGHT BRIGHT)

at the same time we saw the satellite way way way way above soaring SE almost completely faint to the eye, unless you created a finger binocular( since i do not own a real pair ) (had to improvise), if i hadnt cupped my eyes i would have almost been blind to it without focus... and a plane some 2-3 miles away and was a very obvious plane with red and white flashing lights...this blinking "blot" was ruled out as either of those things.

This wasn't my first time around, but for my mate it was.. and he was amazed, since it captured his eye before mine !!!

Kind of. String theory relies on 'parallel universes' and different dimensions.

BUT, it must be understood that there is only one physical manifestation of the material universe. All other dimensions and 'parallel' universe are part of the non-material, the convergence of which is material reality. They are probabilities that eventually manifest as the physical universe of NOW.
